Domestic Shorthair kittens & cats in Eudora, Kansas

Binx was adopted by us from a Humane Society about 8 years ago and is about 8 years old. He does great with other cats, people, and loves kids. Dogs spook him though. He's very loving and cuddly. He is my son's cat, but, sadly, we are having to get a new home due to divorce/domestic issues and we can't take him with. Currently, he is fostered by my sister who had us remove his front claws due to her having leather couches. So, he is definitely an indoors cat and has never been outside. He's getting old, so he's very "chill," and would be great with an elderly person or with small kids. 😊

Bobee Sherbert is truly a bundle of joy. He gets along well with everyone, and even young children can tug gently on his fur without upsetting him. He is a very loving and affectionate cat with a calm, easygoing temperament. Bobee does have some health concerns, including periodontitis, but he is managing well with treatment and remains comfortable. He also struggles with litter box issues, which I believe are largely due to stress from living with five other cats. I am confident he would thrive in a quieter home as the only cat, especially with an older person who could give him consistent attention and a peaceful environment. He is up to date on all his shots, and at seventeen years old, he is healthy overall and still has a lot of love to give.

My cat is an absolute sweetheart, a little bundle of love who adores cuddles and gentle pets. She lights up during snack time, savoring every bite with pure joy, yet she also treasures her own space, retreating to quiet corners when she needs a moment to herself. Her affectionate, playful, and independent personality makes her both a loving companion and a little queen of her own cozy kingdom.

Bobbi Sue is a little character who knows what she wants, and exactly how to ask for it! When she would like her litter box freshened, she sits by it and looks at her foster Mom. When she wants her electronic toy turned on, she goes over and bats it. When she wants her ping pong ball tossed (preferably the pink one), she starts batting it around. (This is real progress from when she used to gently nip her foster Mom when she wanted something!) When she rolls on her side, she’d like a back scratch and right side head rub, and rewards the scratches and rubs with purrs. When she’s ready to get off a lap, she’d gets up and goes. If she needs to feel safe, she either goes in her cubby or sits where she can see everything. Bobbi absolutely loves squeeze up treats and play time! She is a unique, fun, and beautiful cat.  Bobbi Sue (Bobbers) also has specific boundaries that need to be respected. She came to us with her two kittens, and presented stressed and shy. We don’t know much about her former life, but there is one particular hand movement that she reacts to, so we suspect something happened to cause that. She will be shy at first, but with patience, persistence, predictability, play time (and most importantly, the squeeze up treat), she will grow into a wonderful, fun cat companion who will want to be Queen of your house! We feel like we are not yet seeing her full personality, but the safer she feels, the more we see, and the more we like it.  We do not recommend a home with children, as she does best with routine and predictability. Bobbi Sue was born approximately May 7, 2023, and her adoption fee is $105, or adopt two and the second is one-half price. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend. Rizzo and Gonzo are mama and daughter kitties who will live their best lives together. Rizzo is a sweet mama kitty who has been working hard to take care of her babies. She’s been a bit defensive of them around other cats, so if she goes to a home with other cats a slow introduction will be necessary. She’s playful and snuggly, but takes a little time to warm up to people at first. She LOVES getting pets, and will climb up on her foster mama's lap for more.  Gonzo is a shy kitty. She’s still working on her social skills and developing trust with people, so she needs an adopter who understands her needs and will help her to become more comfortable and confident. She likes to climb up to look out the window to watch the birds and squirrels, and she loves a cozy spot to snuggle up with her mom Rizzo for a good nap.  These kitties should get along with kids, other cats, and cat-friendly dogs given proper introductions. Rizzo was born approximately October 15, 2022, and August 12, 2025, respectively. Their combined adoption fee is $222.50.
