Story
Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Meet Bubba & Shiloh – The Sweetest Pair You’ll Ever Meet! Bubba is a gentle, 3-year-old orange tabby sweetheart who’s had a tough start to life, but you’d never know it by the way he loves people. He enjoys meeting new friends, getting pets, and curling up on your lap for snuggles. In his foster home, he shares a room—and a special bond—with Shiloh, an affectionate and playful 11-month-old grey tabby girl kitten who has chosen Bubba as her best friend and protector.   Shiloh can be shy at first, but once she feels safe, she’s an absolute cuddle bug. She loves playing with wand toys, lasers, or even entertaining herself when Bubba’s feeling mellow. Together, they make the perfect pair—spending their days lounging side-by-side and bird-watching from the window.   They’ve both been around dogs and do well with calm ones, though they might hiss a bit if a dog gets too rowdy. Bubba is comfortable being held, while Shiloh prefers to keep all four paws on the ground. These two are deeply bonded and would love a forever home together. Like all cats, they’ll need a gentle, slow introduction to settle into a new environment—but with a little patience, you’ll gain two loving, loyal companions. Bubba was born approximately April 21, 2022, and Shiloh was born approximately June 1, 2024. Their combined adoption fee $222.50, which includes $20 each for microchips. They are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend. For more information, or to confirm whether a particular cat or kitten will be present that weekend, please email kittycityks@aol.com.  Kitty City Kansas Rescue is a volunteer, non-profit organization.  April 27, 2025, 10:31 pm

Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Meet Cleopatra, a 7-year-old beauty whose favorite activities are chasing wand toys or laser pointers, and gentle belly rubs. She is a perfect companion cat and will love being near you to keep you company. She is not fond of being picked up or sitting on laps but will rest her sweet head on you during naps.    Cleopatra will need some time to adjust because she has lost her original owner and then had to move a few times. Once she trusts you, she will make your patience worthwhile. She does well with the foster home’s cat-friendly dog and mellow cats.   She doesn’t like the activity at the shelter, so she is available for home visits only. She is eligible on a trial basis since she has been with Kitty City for a while. Cleopatra is hoping to meet her forever person soon! Cleopatra was born approximately June 23, 2017, and her adoption fee is $105, or adopt 2, and the 2nd is half off. Story
Bones has had a rough start to life, but has so much love to give. Through no fault of her own she has been bounced around to many homes, and is ready to find her forever family. Bones is a cuddly, affectionate, and vocal cat. She loves people and LOVES dogs. In her current home she sleeps curled up on her owners neck at night, and cuddles their Great Dane’s face during the day. Bones CAN NOT live with other cats. This makes her feel very insecure and anxious. Bones would do best in a cat free home that has a cat friendly dog and an experienced cat owner who is home often. She is clingy and doesn’t do well when she is left alone too long. Bones is playful and mouthy, so a home that understands cat’s enrichment needs and behaviors is best. Bones has had problems in the past with marking, but in a calm, consistent, cat-free environment this issue should resolve. She is such a goofy and unique cat. Bones just needs a chance to flourish in a home which can truly meet her social needs.

Story
Bandito is a young, affectionate tuxedo boy who’s as charming as his name suggests. This sweet guy showed up in a Good Samaritan’s yard, clearly dumped and in need of help. With a tight collar around his neck and a bandage wrapped too snugly on his front paw, he was rescued just in time—and has been nothing but grateful since. Now safely indoors, Bandito is adjusting beautifully to the comforts of inside life and is ready to find a loving forever home where he’ll never be left behind again. Bandito has a laid-back personality and loves lounging around, but he’s no loner—he’ll cry out when he’s feeling lonely and would thrive in a home where he has company. He greets new people with trust and affection, often rolling over for belly rubs like the little sweetheart he is. He doesn’t mind other cats and while he hasn’t been fully tested with kids or dogs, he hasn’t shown signs of fear or aggression. Bandito deserves a second chance at the good life—and a family who will give him the love and stability he craves. Looking for a lovable companion with a dapper coat and a heart of gold? Bandito might just be your perfect match. You can meet him in person at the Second Cup Cat Cafe! ----------------------------------------- If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt. Story
Bobber a.k.a. Bob is a quiet, easygoing sweetheart with a stunning tuxedo coat and a heart full of love. While he may take a few days to warm up in a new environment, once he feels safe, he becomes a friendly, affectionate companion who enjoys spending time with his people. This mellow guy is all about life’s simple pleasures—sunny windows, soft cat perches, cozy blankets, and of course… snacks. Bob never turns down a treat (especially Churu!), and is not ashamed of his snack-loving lifestyle. He also enjoys a little catnip and wand toy action, but don’t expect hours of play—Bob prefers short bursts of fun followed by long, luxurious naps. He tolerates the dogs in his foster home but tends to keep to himself when they get noisy, so he’d likely thrive in a quieter setting. Bob loves being held and sitting on laps—just be ready for a hefty dose of cat, as he’s a big boy with lots of love to give. Looking for a calm, affectionate cat who will bring warmth and comfort to your home? Bobber might just be your perfect match. ----------------------------------------- If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt.
