I'm a little cat with a big personality! I arrived at HOPE after having to be surrendered by the family that took me in after I was kicked out of my home. They loved me but I really didn't like their current cats. Most the lobby cat's here at the shelter annoy me a lot too, so I would prefer to be your only one. Other than that, I absolutely love people. I'm always ready for any kind of attention you give me. When I first got to the shelter I was a bit stressed and grouchy. So I may need a few days in your home to adjust before I'm ready for all that love, but I will get there quickly!

She kept me, my mom, my sister, and my brother in a large cage. We got to play in the room sometimes, but not all that often. I am four years old, and when we got here to HOPE we weren't so sure what to think of people. Or space. Now we live in the communal room with a bunch of other cats. The room is HUGE, and I love it! My name is Jax and I’ve been going through it a bit lately. First my owner passed away and his family was unable to keep my sister and I so we were brought to HOPE. The people here are super nice but I was still a bit unsure and scared at first. My sister knew we were safe and was friendly and affectionate so I started adventuring out of my cage too. Then one night my sister passed away suddenly. Nobody is sure what happened since she never acted like anything was wrong but she was quite frail so the people think she might have had a hidden sickness. So i’m a bit lonely now and I’d love a nice, calm house to live in. I’m still a bit shy and unsure in new spaces but as long as you let me learn at my own pace, I will be nothing but sweet. I’m laid-back and calm at 8 years old. I don’t love the other cats but I mainly just ignore them and do not like when dogs get in my space at all, but not many cats do!
