Whismur was found in the snow of Roeland Park in 2013, emaciated and pregnant. She is a survivor in every sense of the word. Because of her rough start, she has a big heart and a powerful voice - she never wants to be overlooked again. She is is a world-class snuggler who will melt her entire body into yours, climbing up your chest just to be closer to you. Because of her early trauma, she is never quiet about her needs. She will let you know exactly when it's time to eat, snuggle, or play. She needs a home where her chatting is welcomed as part of her big personality. She has a deep obsession with food and needs an owner who can provide unlimited access to food or a consistent feeding schedule/automatic feeder to help her feel secure. She still has the spirit of a kitten and loves to play every day. She is high-energy and plays hard so she would do best in a home with sturdy furniture or someone who doesn't mind a bit of "character" in their decor. Toys, cat tree, etc included.

Cheese is very sweet with people. He wants to sit in your lap and rub his face on yours. He loves to play to and can jump really high! He unfortunately did not get along with my cat (my cat was too defensive and is now so stressed that it's affecting his health). He was found by a friend and spent two weeks in a house with dogs which he did not seem to mind. He had been chipped already but the phone number associated with the chip never responded after many attempts to reach them.

My beloved kimchi is in urgent need of a new home. We have been together for going on 9 years, and as we are deeply bonded, I am hoping to find someone who will consider an open adoption; so I can come and visit him and receive updates when convenient. He does have some behavioral issues that we manage with medication. When medicated he can be a delightful little grump. Mostly mellow and keeping to himself. But he has historically not taken well to strangers. His ideal home is child and pet free. The right person would see how great he can be and be willing to put in the work. As difficult as he can be sometimes, he deserves love and comfort and a home. I can’t give him those things come March, so if you think you can, please consider welcoming him into your life.
