Story
Lee is the kind of cat who always has to be around people, but doesn't want you to know that he needs it. He's a special little chonker who loves food and a good nap. He also is particularly fond of falling asleep on freshly cleaned laundry and sitting on chair arm rests. I am moving in with my girlfriend who has a cat with FIV, and taking Lee with me is not an option, for many other situation reasons, but one of the main reasons being it wouldn't be a healthy option for Lee to be exposed to FIV, and hence I need to rehome him. If you wan't a fluffy chonky companion for your home, consider Lee boy.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Khabibi and Berti are four-year-old female tortoiseshell sisters. These lovable and sweet kitties are bonded and need to be adopted together. Both are spayed, microchipped, in good health, and are up-to-date on shots. Khabibi definitely has a TON of personality and is the dominant one.  Super smart, playful, talkative, adventurous, loves to be petted and talked too.  Bertie is more reserved, but super sweet/cuddly and also loves to play and be talked to.  They also love each other very much, and often sleep/eat/play together.    They recently lost their beloved owner and need a loving forever home. Story
This stunning boy is Sage. Sage came into a shelter that has since closed when he was just a kitten with four of his siblings. Unfortunately, we don't have great records of their age, but we believe they are five years old now. Sage has started to come out and socialize with people, likely because there aren't as many cats around. He would do best in a home with folks who have experience with cats and who are willing to give him time and space to adjust to his new environment. If you are patient and quiet he will come to you for grooming and some pets. But Sage might never be a cat who runs to you when you get home from work or who clamors to jump into your lap when you sit down, and that's okay. Please call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more information on Sage. He's in the Kansas City metro, but transport might be available to the right home.

Story
This darling girl is Boots. She's shy but warms up and always comes for pets. As she's become more trusting she's learned to enjoy being held and getting attention and affection. Boots even likes getting belly rubs now! There are two ways to Boots' heart, though. The first you could probably guess: food, and the tastier the better. Get her some Churus and Temptations; pull out all the stops for Boots. The second is brushing her beautiful coat! Boots looooves to be brushed! She doesn't ask too much, does she? Do you have a fairly quiet home without small kids? Will you give Boots a little time to get to know you? You and Boots might be a great match! Please call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 if you'd like more information on Boots. She's in the KC metro, but transport might be available to the right home.

Story
Lots of fun, lots of energy! Sissy and Beau are bonded sister and brother about five months old. Toys on a string, a box, catnip mice--these two luv it all. While they would do best in a home together, they could be rehomed separately. They enjoy time with my 8-year-old boy cat and other kittens. They were brought to my porch by their mom when they were about five weeks old. These are the softest, silkiest kittens I have ever held. I'm requesting a vet reference from potential owners.

Story
Helen adores people! She comes trotting right over for pets and love when she hears voices. She's such a sweet baby girl. No one knows where she came from. One day, she just showed up on a nice lady's street, clearly not lacking for food. (Helen is what we call "well nourished.") Despite notices and posts, no one came to collect sweet Helen. When taken in to be spayed, it turned out that Helen already was, but she had no microchip. So now she's vaccinated and ready to be adopted. Helen's a smart kitty, so we're confident that she'll do fine using a litterbox once she's living a luxury life indoors. She wants to be inside with humans soooo much. We know that Helen needs a home with people who will adore her and spoil her. Think that's you? Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387. Helen's in the KC metro, but transport might be available to the right home!

Story
Meet Yari, an affectionate, loving kitty living outside in a colony with other cats. She's so friendly and trusting of humans that she probably didn't grow up outside. When the colony caretaker first saw her, Yari was very hungry and way too skinny. Even so, she didn't mind sharing her food with her colony kitty friend Autumn, who is also available for adoption. Yari has gained at least three pounds in the last three to four months. Needless to say, no one was looking for this sweet girl. Yari deserves a home with someone who will show her what it's like to live the good life indoors, with the love and care she needs. She'd love a soft, warm place to sleep, good food, clean water, and plenty of scratches and pets! Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more info on Yari. She's in the KC metro, but transport might be available to the right home.
