Story
Hello there! My name’s Penny, and I’m a 9-year old, 55 pound shepherd mix with a big heart, a silly streak, and a love for all things Colorado. I’ve had a wonderful life with my humans, but recently they brought home a tiny human who grew into a very wiggly, spinning, jumpy toddler. And, well… I’m not a fan of surprises that move on two legs. So I’m looking for a quieter home, one without tiny humans, where I can relax, feel safe and be your loyal adventure partner. A little about me: · Healthy, happy, and full of love · Great walker, excellent on trails · I adore hiking, camping, skiing and all the normal mountain fun · I do like kids – as long as they’re predictable, respectful, and old enough to understand my boundaries (probably 9+) · I’ve always lived with dogs, but would like to meet them first. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to explore life with – someone who will wag, cuddle, and trot happily beside you on every trail - I’m your girl!

Story
Meet Tiffany Name: Tiffany DOB: April 23, 2025 Current Weight: 45 pounds (expected to grow to 50 pounds) Health: Healthy, fully vaccinated, spayed Tiffany is a bright, affectionate young girl with a beautiful mix of brains, heart, and playful curiosity. She has that wonderful puppy sparkle — eager to explore the world, happy to be near her people, and always ready for the next adventure or cuddle session. She’s confident without being overwhelming, sweet without being shy, and already showing signs of becoming an incredibly loyal companion. Personality Tiffany is loving, attentive, and people-oriented. She enjoys engaging with her surroundings, learning new things, and being part of daily life. She has a gentle affectionate side that shines during quiet moments and a playful, energetic side that comes out during walks, games, and enrichment time. She bonds deeply and thrives when she feels included and guided. Her mix blends intelligence, loyalty, and athleticism with curiosity and charm. Highly intelligent and eager to learn Active and thrives with mental and physical stimulation Forms strong bonds with their people Does best with structure, routine, and positive training Likely to be medium-large when fully grown This is a wonderful mix for someone who enjoys an engaged, interactive dog and is excited to build a true partnership. Owner Responsibilities Tiffany will need: Daily physical activity and mental enrichment Continued training using patience and positive reinforcement Consistency, routine, and clear boundaries Time, companionship, and inclusion as part of the family She is still growing emotionally and physically and will blossom most with an adopter committed to guiding her through adolescence. &#226&#154&#160&#239&#184&#143 Things to Consider Before Adopting Please think carefully about: Your schedule and ability to provide time, structure, and training Your living situation (landlord approval, space, fencing if needed) Long-term plans — moves, lifestyle changes, travel Financial responsibility including food, training, grooming, and vet care The reality of adopting a young dog who is still learning Adopting is not just about today — it’s about committing to every chapter of her life. Vet Care Although Tiffany is healthy, vaccinated, and spayed, it’s important to schedule a visit with your own vet as soon as possible after adoption to establish care and ensure a smooth transition. The 3-3-3 Rule (Important!) First 3 days: Tiffany may feel overwhelmed as everything is new — patience and reassurance are key. First 3 weeks: She’ll begin learning your routine, your home, and what it means to belong. First 3 months: Trust deepens, confidence grows, and her true personality fully shines. This adjustment period is normal and requires understanding, consistency, and love. Why Tiffany Will Be an Amazing Addition Tiffany isn’t just a dog — she’s a companion in the making. She’s the kind of pup who will look to you for guidance, celebrate your presence, and grow into a loyal, loving soul by your side. With the right home, she’ll become a devoted family member, an adventure buddy, and a steady source of joy for years to come. If you’re ready for a lifelong commitment and excited to help a smart, loving young dog grow into her best self, Tiffany is ready to meet you   If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please follow the link https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions and fill out an application  Thank you for choosing Ozzie and Friends Rescue. Chleo is a loving 10 month old Dutch Shepherd/ Boxer Mix who enjoys tennis balls and cuddles! She was a rescue from a San Antonio shelter, and unfortunately my job is moving me to a different country and I cannot bring her. She is really good with kids and other dogs. She is a spoiled puppy who loves to be dressed from a sweater- to a Halloween costume! Chleo understands the commands: sit, stay, place, and down. I would really love if she went to a loving home!

HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  Greetings, wonderful souls! I extend to you my warmest woofs! I go by the name Meeka, a distinguished 10-year-old German Shepherd Dog mix, on the quest to find my forever companions! As a seasoned lady, I have refined tastes and find solace in the comforts of home. They say home is where the heart is, right? I find immense joy in the tranquility of the backyard and have no yearning for extensive adventures. My happiness blossoms right within the confines of my abode. Whilst I am amicable with my fellow canines in my foster abode, I do prefer the company of mature dogs over the exuberance of puppies; their youthful vigor tends to be a tad overwhelming for my refined sensibilities. I pride myself on my etiquette; you'll never find me leaping onto furniture or disturbing the peace. I find solace in crate time, not out of necessity, but rather for the comfort it provides. My conduct is impeccable, as I have never exhibited any destructive tendencies. Moreover, I have mastered the art of house-training and am proficient in utilizing the doggie door independently. Do you wish to uncover my ultimate delight? It is none other than my beloved Kong ball! Though I hold it dear, I relinquish it willingly without hesitation. Basking in the warmth of the sun whilst keeping a watchful eye on the world around me brings me unparalleled joy. A serene household and a family attuned to my desire for tranquility perfectly align with my temperament. I harbor no aspirations of scaling towering peaks like some of my spirited counterparts in Colorado. All I seek is a modicum of serenity, a touch of sunshine, and the boundless affection and patience of my family. Should you be prepared to embark on this journey with me, let us convene and ascertain if we are indeed the ideal companions for one another. I vow to be the most devoted and appreciative furry companion you could ever envision. Waste no time; submit your application to welcome me into your home today! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##206289##

Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED! Hello, you don’t know it yet, but we are going to be best friends! I know we haven’t met, but I already know I’m going to love you! How do I know that? Well, because humans are the BEST thing since sliced bread! I’m perfectly happy doing whatever you like to do as long as we are doing it together. I like hanging out around the house or throwing toys in your general direction while you try to work in the yard.  I’m a good girl on a leash, and I love walks. I can heal and sit. I don’t get on the furniture. I’m house trained. I have a gentle mouth so you are perfectly safe giving me as many treats as you want. Seriously, as many as you like ;-). I love toys and balls. I get a kick out of kids. Even the little ones don’t bother me because they like toys and balls too! I like looking and smelling pretty. Sometimes I rub against plug in air fresheners, but usually my foster mom just sprays perfume on my bed so I can roll in it. I’m a lady, so I don’t roll in stinky stuff. I promise to keep you entertained because I’m a happy girl, and I want to make my humans happy too.  I’m a bit of a clown. I’m an eight-year-old German Shephard with the heart of a silly pup. I still chase my own tail, but in my defense, sometimes it sneaks up on me. I am a good girl that just wants to please my humans. I get along fine with other dogs. My foster mom doesn’t have cats, but based on my relaxed disposition, she thinks I would be ok with them. Proper introductions are always important. In conclusion, if you are looking for a big-ole bundle of joy, love and gratitude, I am definitely your girl! I can’t wait to meet you. Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##2081086##

Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  Stunning Rayne is a 3-year-old professionally trained Shepherd/Hound mix who is intelligent, sweet, cuddly, and energetic. Rayne tends to reflect the energy of those around her. If her human is calm, she will be, too, but if her human is amped up or anxious, she is likely to mirror that as well. She is generally eager to please, knows how to heel, and knows basic commands like sit, down, and come.  In the house, Rayne is generally very calm. She naps throughout the day and coexists peacefully with her foster brother. They hang out near one other or do their own thing. She is happy to play when he initiates and has tried to tempt him to play with a toy a few times, but she can get a little excited and forget her size once she gets deep into playtime. She has never had an indoor potty accident, and she hasn’t destroyed any household items. She also quietly and patiently lays in her crate when her humans leave the house. She does occasionally bark out the window at passersby.  Rayne gets quite excited to leave the house and go for walks. She walks well on a gentle leader and generally does not pull. It is best to give space outside when encountering dogs she does not know because she selectively gets overstimulated by some dogs. She is a great dog to hike with and will happily hike several miles and on steep trails without trying to drag you around. She tends to sniff more at the beginning of a hike. Later in the walk, she generally pads along and doesn’t really mark. Her foster mom enjoys watching her cute helicopter ears flop a little with every step. She also knows how to run alongside her foster mom on a bike tow leash while her mom pedals.  Rayne is ready to move right in and is up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. So, what do you say? Apply today to embark on a wonderful journey together with this beautiful girl!  Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##1204742##
