You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. AdoptaGSD.org   Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them. When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life. Hi, my name is Winnie, and I'm a beautiful three year old female Dutch Shepherd who was recently returned to FRGSR after I was left unsupervised for long periods of time, and I managed to get into mischief with the neighbors' dogs and chickens. Since returning to my former foster home, I've fallen back into my old routine of playing with the resident male Malinois, going for long walks and cuddling with my humans. While on walks, my foster mom and dad have not observed me to be inappropriate around other dogs or people. My breed is a working breed, and I need a strong leader who will provide me with clear boundaries and both daily mental and physical stimulation. I need to know what my job is and I would prefer to have an adopter who isn't gone all day. I'm crate trained and I walk beautifully on leash, but I also wouldn't mind being someone's running partner. In my foster home, I'm relaxed and friendly because I know they are my leaders and I focus on being a dog. I love to play in the snow with my foster brother! I can get a little possessive of my toys and my foster parents are working on this. If you feel you can meet my needs, please submit an online application at adoptagsd.org. My adoption fee is $400.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life. Hi, my name is Inge, and I'm a beautiful Dutch Shepherd with an estimated DOB of 2/2/22, who was transferred from a shelter that was tight on space. Since arriving, I've been living in foster care, and my foster mom says I'm great with both people and other dogs. When I first arrived, I was very stressed, but over time, that has diminished considerably. I would probably do best with an adopter who either works from home or is able to check on me during the day and provide me with a good dose of exercise. I would also probably do best with a canine companion so I have a buddy while my owner is gone. If you are interested, please go to adoptagsd.org and submit an online application. Story
Shadow is a striking Dutch Shepherd mix with a heart of gold and a loving soul. This handsome boy is a true companion at heart and is looking for a forever home where he can be the center of attention. Shadow absolutely adores people and is incredibly affectionate. He loves nothing more than cuddling up with his favorite humans and showering them with love and affection. While Shadow is a people-lover, he's not as fond of other dogs. He needs to be the only dog in the home and would thrive in a setting where he can be the sole recipient of your love and attention. Shadow's ideal home would be a quiet and loving environment where he can feel safe and secure. Shadow is not just a cuddlebug; he's also a playful and energetic pup. He loves to play fetch, go for walks, and explore the great outdoors. Shadow is housetrained and has no medical issues, making him a low-maintenance and easygoing companion. One of Shadow's unique qualities is his love for cats. He gets along famously with feline friends and would do well in a home with a cat companion. Shadow's affectionate nature and playful spirit make him a wonderful addition to any loving family. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion who will brighten your days with his affectionate nature and playful antics, Shadow is the perfect match for you. Come meet this wonderful boy and see if you're a match made in heaven. Adopt Shadow today and start making unforgettable memories with your new best friend!

Story
Nova is a vibrant 5-year-old Purebred Dutch Shepherd seeking a new loving home. Nova is an energetic companion who thrives on playing fetch. Her playful spirit for life make her an ideal companion for someone who enjoys staying active and engaging in outdoor activities. Regrettably, Novas family must find her a new home due to the presence of infant children in the household. As such, they seek a loving family or individual without children or older kids who can provide Nova with the attention and care she deserves. Nova enjoys outdoor adventures and would make an excellent companion for someone who enjoys walks, hikes, or playing fetch in the yard. Nova is fully house trained, eliminating the need for a crate. She understands and respects boundaries within the home. Nova is accustomed to using a dog door and has all-day access to the outdoors. Novas new home must be in a house with a secure backyard. This will provide her with the space she needs to explore.

Story
Lukas is a beautiful 2 yr old Dutch Shepherd. He is very energetic and loving towards people. He doesn't do so well with other dogs, though! He is very playful and can be 'play aggressive' towards other dogs. He would be best in a home where he is an only dog or he may do well with a female who is comparable size and age. He needs an experienced owner familiar with the breed who will spend time training and making sure he has a 'job' to do, as he is very active and intelligent. He will need a large fenced yard.

These pups are in Littleton, Colorado too!

Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  GSD LOVERS - TAKE A LOOK AT THIS BEAUTY!!! Please meet Bella, a 3.5 year old, 60lb, spayed female German Shepherd Dog.  She is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped and heartworm negative.  Generally considered dogkind's finest all-purpose worker, the German Shepherd Dog (GSD) is an agile, muscular dog of noble character and high intelligence. Loyal, alert, and protective, the German Shepherd is truly a dog lover's delight!  This describes miss Bella to a T!  Bella has worked so har to overcome a bit of a rough start in life. She was abandoned by her person in rural southern Colorado, which must have broken the loyal girl's heart. She was scared and on the run for nearly two weeks.  With the whole town of Swink. CO trying to help her, Bella did eventually get moved on to the (local) shelter alone and afraid. Fortunately, Two Blondes All Breed Rescue gave her a shot at a new life; rescued her from the shelter and sent her to a comprehensive board and train program. She learned many skills in training including sit, down, stay, kennel, wait, and is perfectly house trained. She also got a great start in learning to trust people again. Now, Bella has been part of a loving foster home for the past few months where she has learned how to be part of a family.  Although she still needs proper introductions to new situations, this empathetic creature now warms up to new people within a few seconds. She is great with other dogs her size and Bella LOVES to play!  Bella is SMART and she thrives with both mental and physical stimulation.  Her foster family takes her hiking and has started doing agility work with her.  She's a champ at both!  Bella's perfect home would include an active person or family, with or without other dogs her size (probably best for her to avoid living with smaller dogs or cats as her prey drive and exuberance might be a bit much for them).  Bella also does very well with children but again, size and age appropriate children should be a consideration if younger ones are not used to big dogs. If you are looking for a dog to help you embrace Colorado's active lifestyle, Bella's your girl!  Please do not hesitate to complete an application to meet Bella today! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##1592144##

Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  Hello family, my name is Farah! I am a distinguished 5 year old German Shepherd who is the biggest love you can find. I completed a 4 week board and train program and know so many skills including: sit, down, stay, heel (work in progress), kennel, and get busy (go potty). I live with two adults and one dog who I love very much, we play hard and love being with each other. I would do best in a home with older kids and no small dogs/cats. I would also do best with a 6’ fence because I have the ability to jump shorter fences. I will also need someone to take my training seriously and be willing to work on my skills each day. I am food motivated but I’m even more motivated by praise and love, giving and receiving love is my favorite. I'm up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and ready to start my forever adventure! If you are interested in meeting me, apply today, and let's get this party started! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##629096##
