Story
Shadow is a striking Dutch Shepherd mix with a heart of gold and a loving soul. This handsome boy is a true companion at heart and is looking for a forever home where he can be the center of attention. Shadow absolutely adores people and is incredibly affectionate. He loves nothing more than cuddling up with his favorite humans and showering them with love and affection. While Shadow is a people-lover, he's not as fond of other dogs. He needs to be the only dog in the home and would thrive in a setting where he can be the sole recipient of your love and attention. Shadow's ideal home would be a quiet and loving environment where he can feel safe and secure. Shadow is not just a cuddlebug; he's also a playful and energetic pup. He loves to play fetch, go for walks, and explore the great outdoors. Shadow is housetrained and has no medical issues, making him a low-maintenance and easygoing companion. One of Shadow's unique qualities is his love for cats. He gets along famously with feline friends and would do well in a home with a cat companion. Shadow's affectionate nature and playful spirit make him a wonderful addition to any loving family. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion who will brighten your days with his affectionate nature and playful antics, Shadow is the perfect match for you. Come meet this wonderful boy and see if you're a match made in heaven. Adopt Shadow today and start making unforgettable memories with your new best friend!

AdoptaGSD.org   Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them. When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life. Hi, my name is Winnie, and I'm a beautiful three year old female Dutch Shepherd who was recently returned to FRGSR after I was left unsupervised for long periods of time, and I managed to get into mischief with the neighbors' dogs and chickens. Since returning to my former foster home, I've fallen back into my old routine of playing with the resident male Malinois, going for long walks and cuddling with my humans. While on walks, my foster mom and dad have not observed me to be inappropriate around other dogs or people. My breed is a working breed, and I need a strong leader who will provide me with clear boundaries and both daily mental and physical stimulation. I need to know what my job is and I would prefer to have an adopter who isn't gone all day. I'm crate trained and I walk beautifully on leash, but I also wouldn't mind being someone's running partner. In my foster home, I'm relaxed and friendly because I know they are my leaders and I focus on being a dog. I love to play in the snow with my foster brother! I can get a little possessive of my toys and my foster parents are working on this. If you feel you can meet my needs, please submit an online application at adoptagsd.org. My adoption fee is $400.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life. Hi, my name is Inge, and I'm a beautiful Dutch Shepherd with an estimated DOB of 2/2/22, who was transferred from a shelter that was tight on space. Since arriving, I've been living in foster care, and my foster mom says I'm great with both people and other dogs. When I first arrived, I was very stressed, but over time, that has diminished considerably. I would probably do best with an adopter who either works from home or is able to check on me during the day and provide me with a good dose of exercise. I would also probably do best with a canine companion so I have a buddy while my owner is gone. If you are interested, please go to adoptagsd.org and submit an online application. Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Trixy was adopted from a local adoption center when she was 4 months old 12 years ago. Her birthday is on April 13th. She’s lived the majority of her life free-roaming, in a backyard and in a house with occasional walks and hikes to the mountains. She could be described as very shy and timid at first, but later opens up to be a very sweet and affectionate girl. She loves going on walks and dislikes going in water. She loves eating, her favorite foods being bananas and steak. She is a good dog for a quiet home with loving people and ample space, as she is a senior and doesn’t have puppy energy anymore. Trixy also loves head scratches and all the attention ever.

Hutla, smaller malinois mix, 48 lb, female, spayed, 1 yoHutla is a beutiful, sweet, waggy, happy girl. She looks like a very smll hepherd, she is young, playful,  obedient and trainabl.  She was abandoned in the fields and showed up one night at someone's farm with her mom Ursa. Needs to be guided gently, with the patience with her sometimes puppy-like behaviors.. All she wants is to be loved and appreciated. She is rather friendly and submissive with the other dogs, but gets nervous at first and needs proper introduction. Better with the male dogs. Good on a leash. Needs a fenced yard with 6' fence. Adoption fee $325. If interested, please submit an adoption or foster application at https://www.sanNicolaDogRescue.com      April 22, 2024, 2:44 pm

Story
Hi, I'm Blake (but feel free to call me Handsome, too)! I'm a charming young pup currently living with my foster parents, who have shown me the ropes. Now, I'm ready to find my forever family and start a serious relationship! As a bonus, I come with an award-winning starter pack: I'm potty and crate trained! This means I'll fit seamlessly into your routine. Plus, I'm a breeze to walk on a leash – most of the time, that is! (More on that later.) My foster mom reminds me to be honest, so here's the truth: I LOVE FRISBEES! After a disc golf outing with my parents, I was hooked! Those flying discs need my attention, and I can get a bit excited, which might make my leash line tighten up occasionally. But hey, it's all in the name of fun! Aside from my frisbee enthusiasm, I'm a smart boy who knows how to sit, stay, and come. I'm eager to learn more and would love treats in exchange for my efforts! When I'm not playing or learning, you can find me enjoying toys, playing chase, snoozing on the sofa, or joining my parents on hikes and brewery visits. Although I might be a bit shy at first and bark at new faces, give me a minute or two, and I'll forget all about my fears and become your new best friend! So, can we be friends? Blake is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on shots. His adoption fee is $375. If you're interested in meeting this charming boy, please submit an adoption application: https://dooverdogs.com/multi-step-adoption-form-1/
