No matter what he is, he is a great young adult- just a year old now and about 49 lb.. Many breeds have a brindle coloring, one of which is Dutch Shepherd or Hound. Jacob is absolutely the sweetest and loveliest . I adopted him from the Dallas shelter in January 2026. They had no history on him. I am rehoming him because he needs a yard and more space than I can offer. He was fine while I was home, but now that I am having to go to the office five days a week, he is very anxious and unhappy. If I was able to keep him outside, it would be better.He is not aggressive, he is nervous around unknown people and animals, but his first instinct is to try to get away or run away from them.When I adopted him, he was completely traumatized and shut down. He has come out of his shell and made so much progress. He sits right next to me and goes for walks, exploring the neighborhood.He loves to lay on the couchHe is up-to-date on all of his shots. He was heartworm positive when I adopted him, but he has completed all treatments and has had the yearly heartworm shot. I’m convinced his mixed with a herding breed because he tries to herd me and lead me everywhere.

Violet is a love bug to her people but cautious of others until trust is built. She takes her role as her family's protector very seriously. She is thought to be a German Shepherd and Golden Retriever mix. She was born July 25, 2023, weighs 53 pounds, is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, HW negative and on preventative. She sleeps all night in her crate and is house trained. Due to Violet's rough start in life she will need a family with patience, allowing her to bond in her own time by giving her love, positive reinforcement and remembering that it's a journey not a race. Once she gains your trust she's likely to cuddle like a baby with her people, play with her chew toys and will love going on walks. Her ideal home is one where the mom or dad work from home or part time and has a doggie friend to play with. She does okay with respectful cats, but does try to herd anything that moves faster than a walk whether it is other dogs, cats or humans both young and old. She sees any type of fowl as a chew toy so we recommend a home without pet birds or chickens. A fenced yard and vet reference are required. Watson was born July 1, 2024 to an abandoned dog. Best guess on his breed is Shepherd, Lab, Pittie, and SuperMutt! We've included a pic of his momma who is a black Shepherd. He's a handsome hunk who loves to flirt! He can be a little shy at first but has the sweetest temperament and warms up quickly. He loves playing with other dogs his size (not sure about the little ones) and loves zoomies! Although he would love a playmate, Watson would be fine as your only dog getting all of your love and attention and would do well in a home with respectful children and cats. Watson has had some obedience training, walks great on a leash and knows the basic commands. He is crate and house trained too! Because he is still young and would benefit from consistency and structure having an adult who is home more than away would be best. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, HW negative and on flea & HW preventatives.
