Jax is a 6 year old dutch shepherd mixed breed. We adopted Jax in 2022 at the age of almost 2 years old. He is leash, house, and crate trained.Jax is a great dog but very active. Jax enjoys going on runs, playing with/pulling firewood around the backyard, barking at and chasing squirrels out of his yard. He loves to please and likes to be near us. Retired previously, I now have returned to work full-time. Also in a few months, we will have our first grandchild. Therefore, these changes have and will continue to impact Jax because he is not getting the needed attention, activity, and exercise.Jax needs someone or a family with no or older children in the home. In addition, he is an alpha dog that functions well with consistent boundaries. He is protective and an overall good dog!

Violet is a love bug to her people but cautious of others until trust is built. She takes her role as her family's protector very seriously. She is thought to be a German Shepherd and Golden Retriever mix. She was born July 25, 2023, weighs 53 pounds, is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, HW negative and on preventative. She sleeps all night in her crate and is house trained. Due to Violet's rough start in life she will need a family with patience, allowing her to bond in her own time by giving her love, positive reinforcement and remembering that it's a journey not a race. Once she gains your trust she's likely to cuddle like a baby with her people, play with her chew toys and will love going on walks. Her ideal home is one where the mom or dad work from home or part time and has a doggie friend to play with. She does okay with respectful cats, but does try to herd anything that moves faster than a walk whether it is other dogs, cats or humans both young and old. She sees any type of fowl as a chew toy so we recommend a home without pet birds or chickens. A fenced yard and vet reference are required. Watson was born July 1, 2024 to an abandoned dog. Best guess on his breed is Shepherd, Lab, Pittie, and SuperMutt! We've included a pic of his momma who is a black Shepherd. He's a handsome hunk who loves to flirt! He can be a little shy at first but has the sweetest temperament and warms up quickly. He loves playing with other dogs his size (not sure about the little ones) and loves zoomies! Although he would love a playmate, Watson would be fine as your only dog getting all of your love and attention. He would do well in a home with respectful children and cats. Watson has had some obedience training, walks great on a leash and knows the basic commands. He is crate and house trained too! He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, HW negative and on flea & HW preventatives. We adopt in the DFW area only (within an hour's drive from Terrell) as we deliver our pets to their new homes., A fenced yard and vet reference are required.
