I’m Pacaya, an athletic, happy, and downright charismatic girl with a heart full of joy and paws made for exploring. I’m friendly, engaging and I has got a gorgeous coat that goes from a warm tan to a rich red when the sun hits me just right. I'm always ready for the next adventure — especially if it involves hiking, swimming and exploring(yes, I take the scenic route whenever possible). If you love the outdoors, we’re already best friends. Trails? I’m in. Lakes? I’m already splashing. Hills? I’ll meet you at the top, tail wagging proudly. I thrive with an active person or family who enjoys getting out and doing things — I make an excellent hiking buddy, jogging partner, or “let’s-see-what’s-over-there” companion. But don’t let my athletic side fool you — once the adventure is done, I’m all about the wind-down life. Belly rubs, ear scratches, and lounging with my people are absolute perfection. Hi, my name is Vega and I am from Oklahoma. From her foster: Vega is a sweet soul- and she will attach herself to you. She follows me around the whole house and will sit in my lap when I sit. Her favorite is to nap in my armpit- she is a snuggly girl who wants to be close. She is finding her voice and will let you know if you leave her behind. Vega is sporty and has already learned how to go up and down stairs. She is working on potty training and is good at sitting. She is sweet with my 4 year old son and gets along with my two 12lb and smaller chihuahua mixes. She will go in her crate, but she will let you know she would rather be in your arms.

Hi, my name is Prance and I am from Georgia! From his foster: Prance is a sweet, playful boy who loves toys and likes to cuddle up in his bed! He does well with other dogs—he’s especially fond of our resident dog. He is a little timid at first but warms up quickly and has started to find his own personality! He has been doing really well with potty training. He sleeps well in his kennel and absolutely loves playing outside when the weather isn’t super cold. Prance is great with kids and loves our 1 year old son! He would do great with a home that has a yard to play in. He is ready to bring joy, snuggles, and plenty of tail wags to his forever home!

Meet Buggie, a Fiest born approx 6/7/23. Buggie is a silly, playful, cuddle buddy that would love to follow you around the house. Her favorite place to be is on the couch. She likes other dogs and does great with cats. She has a moderate energy level, so a few quick zoomies to get the energy out, and then she is happy to lounge around the house, look out the window, or play with her toys. She is kennel-trained and is very excited about learning and practicing commands. She came into rescue very shutdown and fearful and has made great progress in learning to trust people again. She is still shy when meeting new people or visiting new places, but once she knows you, you will be her favorite person! Her confidence is growing everyday and she is well on her way to becoming her best, sassy self. Due to being on the shy side, her ideal home would have older children or adults only. She'd do great in an apartment or in a home with a yard. She goes outside to do her business on a routine schedule, but she prefers to be inside the house, so someone who likes to spend time at home would be her ideal match. She'll thrive in a quiet home that provides the gentle patience and structure she needs to grow into the perfect best friend. If you're looking for a sweet, cuddly, moderate energy, medium size dog, then Buggie is the little girl for you!        Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
