Her favorite is to nap in my armpit- she is a snuggly girl who wants to be close. She is finding her voice and will let you know if you leave her behind. Vega is sporty and has already learned how to go up and down stairs. She is working on potty training and is good at sitting. She is sweet with my 4 year old son and gets along with my two 12lb and smaller chihuahua mixes. She will go in her crate, but she will let you know she would rather be in your arms.

Meet Batty — the tiny dog with the big, adorable ears! My name is Batty, and if you saw my cute black ears, you’d instantly know how I got it. I’m a 6-year-old male black Chihuahua who found himself at Animal Ark after my person left for college and couldn’t take me along. I’ve been described as playful, quiet, and shy, and I’m proud to say I walk very nicely on a leash. I don’t have experience with cats, and I tend to be cautious and reserved around other dogs, but I warm up with patience and kindness. I’ve spent time with children ages 2–16 and was happy and playful with them—just a little careful at first while I get to know everyone.
