Hi, my name is Prance and I am from Georgia! From his foster: Meet Prance! Prance is a sweet, playful boy who loves toys and likes to cuddle up in his bed! He does well with other dogs—he’s especially fond of our resident dog. He is a little timid at first but warms up quickly! He has been doing really well with potty training. He loves his kennel as a safe place and absolutely loves playing outside. Prance would do great with a home that has a yard to play in. He is ready to bring joy, snuggles, and plenty of tail wags to his forever home!

Hi, my name is Poinsettia and I am from Georgia! From her foster: She has the cutest puppy energy and loves to chew on her toys, pounce like a cat, and hide under beds. She is very playful with our other dogs, but also is happy to cuddle with the humans on the couch. She is usually very quiet unless she wants to get some attention, but then she has the funniest howl that we can't help but laugh at. Poinsettia is doing great on walks with the other two resident dogs. She is crate trained and only whimpers a bit before she decides to take a nap. She is working on potty training and knows what we want, but is still learning. This cold Minnesota snow is throwing her off, too!

Meet Buggie, a Fiest born approx 6/7/23. Buggie is a silly, playful, cuddle buddy that would love to follow you around the house. Her favorite place to be is on the couch. She likes other dogs and does great with cats. She has a moderate energy level, so a few quick zoomies to get the energy out, and then she is happy to lounge around the house, look out the window, or play with her toys. She is kennel-trained and is very excited about learning and practicing commands. She came into rescue very shutdown and fearful and has made great progress in learning to trust people again. She is still shy when meeting new people or visiting new places, but once she knows you, you will be her favorite person! Her confidence is growing everyday and she is well on her way to becoming her best, sassy self. Due to being on the shy side, her ideal home would have older children or adults only. She'd do great in an apartment or in a home with a yard. She goes outside to do her business on a routine schedule, but she prefers to be inside the house, so someone who likes to spend time at home would be her ideal match. She'll thrive in a quiet home that provides the gentle patience and structure she needs to grow into the perfect best friend. She’s equal parts sweetheart and sass, a young dog who thrives on love, patience, and plenty of playtime. While she can be cautious with new people and may announce her feelings with barks or growls, Daphne’s true magic shines once trust is built—then she transforms into a loyal, goofy best friend. Her favorite activities include sprinting around the yard like a tiny rocket, chasing squirrels with Olympic-level determination, burrowing under blankets for cozy naps, and testing out tough chew toys. She’s potty trained, kennel trained, and knows a few commands, though she prefers to keep life interesting with her own quirky flair. Welcome Missy to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Missy Gorda is a 2 -year- old Chug (Pug/Chihuahua). She weighs about 13 pounds and appears to be a good weight. She has the Pug body and is thick in the middle. She is very playful with toys. She is in a foster home with a large dog and Minnie and she does good with both. She isn’t a big shedder. She isn’t too vocal which is nice. She can use the doggy door and goes outside to do her business. She came from a hoarding situation and probably hasn’t been held much. She is a little nervous being held and has a bit of a stiff body. She loves her crate and will go to it when she is scared. The crate makes her feel safe. She is a wonderful little dog. She is really doing great in her foster home. We think the best home for Missy is a home with a partially or fully retired person or someone who has a quieter home. She would be great with someone that is more to themselves and doesn’t have a houseful of people everyday. She is a nice dog and when she is afraid she will retreat to her crate. She is getting lots of attention in her foster home and is doing great. She wouldn’t require a huge yard but a fenced one would be best for this girl. She can go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is currently in Texas in foster care. She is getting her vaccinations and will be spayed soon. She can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200.
