Meet Buggie, a Fiest born approx 6/7/23. Buggie is a silly, playful, cuddle buddy that would love to follow you around the house. Her favorite place to be is on the couch. She likes other dogs and does great with cats. She has a moderate energy level, so a few quick zoomies to get the energy out, and then she is happy to lounge around the house, look out the window, or play with her toys. She is kennel-trained and is very excited about learning and practicing commands. She came into rescue very shutdown and fearful and has made great progress in learning to trust people again. She is still shy when meeting new people or visiting new places, but once she knows you, you will be her favorite person! Her confidence is growing everyday and she is well on her way to becoming her best, sassy self. Due to being on the shy side, her ideal home would have older children or adults only. She'd do great in an apartment or in a home with a yard. She goes outside to do her business on a routine schedule, but she prefers to be inside the house, so someone who likes to spend time at home would be her ideal match. She'll thrive in a quiet home that provides the gentle patience and structure she needs to grow into the perfect best friend. He does well with other dogs—he’s especially fond of our resident dog. He is a little timid at first but warms up quickly! He has been doing really well with potty training. He loves his kennel as a safe place and absolutely loves playing outside. Prance would do great with a home that has a yard to play in. Hi, my name is Poinsettia and I am from Georgia! From her foster: She has the cutest puppy energy and loves to chew on her toys, pounce like a cat, and hide under beds. She is very playful with our other dogs, but also is happy to cuddle with the humans on the couch. She is usually very quiet unless she wants to get some attention, but then she has the funniest howl that we can't help but laugh at. Poinsettia is doing great on walks with the other two resident dogs. She is crate trained and only whimpers a bit before she decides to take a nap. She is working on potty training and knows what we want, but is still learning. This cold Minnesota snow is throwing her off, too!

Story
Meet Zoe, a Chihuahua born approx 3/7/2020. Zoe is a sweet girl who has had a lot of transitions in her life. She can be a little slow to warm up, but once she does, she is very cuddly. She has seemed to attach strongly to the mom of the house and does get anxious when she leaves, but eventually settles down. She’s been alone up to 6 hours, has been free floating around the house, and has not had any accidents or destroyed anything during that time. Zoe is house-trained, and scratches at the door when she needs to be let out. She is not kennel trained. She has been great with our 3.5 year old daughter. Initially she was respectful and a little afraid of our cat, but she has had a few instances of lashing out toward the cat, She has been great with our small dog, and has met other big dogs on leash and has reacted positively. She loves walks, and while she pulls sometimes, she is easily redirected. Zoe is a medium energy level. She loves running off-leash on our acreage, but can also curl up on the couch and be content. In the car Zoe wants to ride on your lap, but also does fine in the kennel during rides. Zoe is treat motivated, playful, and sweet and will make a great family dog for a very lucky family.    Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
