Story
A SWEET & JOYFUL PUPPY: Approx. 5-6 months old / Approx. 28 lbs. & growing Hi, I'm Korra! I came to Mostly Mutts after finding myself at animal control. I'm not quite sure how I ended up there, but I'm so grateful to be safe and well cared for now. I was selected to participate in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience and learned a lot! I'm a sweet, hopeful pup with my whole future ahead of me, and I can't wait to "rescue" my new family with lots of puppy love, happy adventures, and tail wags. I hope we meet very soon! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a nice dog at home already that would like a puppy friend, let's meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven't met kids at Mostly Mutts, so let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a very sweet pup, full of joy that I love to share with all the nice volunteers. When we go on walks, I like having my carrot toy with me—it helps keep my puppy teeth busy and makes me feel confident. I was a perfect angel pup for my bath. I stood very still and even gave kisses because I felt so safe. Afterward, I loved being held and carried around so I could look out the window and watch everything happening outside. I sat nicely for a treat, trying my best to be polite and show how good I can be. I'm sweet, friendly, and I really like toys. I'm a happy, fun little girl who loves being close to you and exploring life one exciting step at a time. / Energy level: 8-9, of course this may change as I grow. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience, so I've mastered the 'sit', 'stay', 'down', 'come', 'drop it', 'leave it' and 'place' commands. I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping. Let's continue my training as there are more classes we can take together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! I'm looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog—so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / My crate manners have been good at the shelter and in the off-site training program. / My potty manners have been good on the shelter schedule and in the off-site training program, with just a little excitement peeing at times. I'm sure this will lessen at I get more comfortable in new situations. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love toys, going for walks and being held like a baby to look out the window. I'm sure we'll find lots more things we enjoy doing together! / I can't think of things I don't like yet since I'm so young, though like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.
