Story
Current location: Bel air, MD Raven is a stunning 1 year old Flat Coated Retriever Lab mix weighing 45 pounds. With her sleek athletic build, golden eyes, dazzling smile, and unbelievably soft coat, she turns heads everywhere she goes. But her beauty is only the beginning. Raven is pure sunshine wrapped in fur. She is the classic happy retriever. Friendly, affectionate, eager to please, and always ready for the next adventure. She loves life and wants to experience it right alongside her people. Walks. Hikes. Road trips. Fetch in the yard. Belly rubs on the couch. Raven is all in. Her favorite thing in the world is her ball. Toss it once and you’ll have a friend for life. She would happily spend her day playing fetch, romping with dog friends, or exploring a new trail. She enjoys activity but also knows how to entertain herself with toys while her people are busy. Raven is smart and loves to learn. She already knows sit and down and is quickly picking up stay, off, and drop it. She enjoys puzzle toys and training sessions. She listens well and genuinely wants to make her people happy. She is house trained with zero accidents. Crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night. Walks nicely on leash. Great with kids. Excellent with other dogs. She has even done well at dog parks and daycare. Like many young dogs, Raven still has a touch of puppy enthusiasm and is working on keeping all four paws on the ground when she gets excited. The good news is she is highly trainable and eager to learn. Raven would thrive with an active family, a fenced yard, another playful dog, or people who enjoy getting out and doing things together. Most of all, she wants to be someone’s favorite companion.

Story
Clara is a 4 year old low key doodle looking for a calm home that will help her lose some weight and get back on a regular exercise regime to lose some weight. Her family had twins, and she has been left out of activities for the past year and is really craving some attention. She is very easy-going, requires regular grooming as any doodle does, and just loves to hang out with her people. She has not led a very social life and is used to a fenced yard. She knows how to ring bells on the door to let you know she needs to go out to go to the bathroom. She could use a patient person who can help her in the transition to a new home. contact irondawgs13@gmail.com for adoption application.

Story
Pepper is a beautiful happy pup that showed up at an apartment complex as a youngster. She has been passed around from apartment to apartment but grew into a 60 pound dog that still needs to do more filling out. The person who keeps her asked Rescue to find her a bigger home with a yard and more exercise than what she was getting out of the small apartments. She is a high energy girl with a lot of fancy moves and does very well on a leash. She could use a little more training, but her breed mix is extremely smart and she would learn very very fast. She would make an excellent running or hiking partner, and do fabulous with agility or obstacle courses. She is very social and loves everybody. She meets and currently lives with some cats. She is crate trained, and has very good house manners and is an excellent dog that will make her new family extremely happy. contact irondawgs13@gmail.com for adoption application

Artemis is a stunning young Flat-Coated Retriever mix who turns heads everywhere he goes. With his glossy coat, soulful eyes, and striking good looks, he's undeniably handsome—but it's his loving personality and devotion to his people that truly make him special. This sweet boy is heartworm positive, but not to worry! He has been treated by our rescue's veterinarian and he'll be on his way to feeling great in no time. Artemis is the perfect blend of active and affectionate. As a retriever at heart, he absolutely loves his ball and would happily spend hours playing fetch. Because he enjoys stretching his legs and getting his daily exercise, he would really benefit from a fully fenced yard. Once he's had a chance to burn off some energy outside, Artemis settles beautifully indoors and is content to relax by your side. He's a wonderful companion in every sense of the word. Artemis is house-trained, crate-trained, rides great in the car, and walks gently on leash. He's not a vocal dog, isn't prone to jumping on people, and has a calm, easygoing presence in the home. What Artemis loves most, though, is being close to his humans. He's a true snuggle bug who will happily curl up next to you on the couch and soak up all the affection you have to offer. His favorite place is wherever you are. Artemis would do best as the only dog in the home, where he can enjoy all the love and attention for himself. He is truly a people dog through and through and is looking for someone who wants a loyal, devoted companion. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who loves fetch, enjoys adventures, and is always ready for a cuddle session afterward, Artemis may be the perfect match for you. Apply today! Story
Chelsea – The Dog Who Will Choose You Chelsea has been waiting. She came to us as a military boarder, and when it was time to go home—no one came back for her. Communication stopped. Payments stopped. And since May 2025, Chelsea has been here, quietly waiting for someone who will actually show up for her. And here’s the part people miss— she’s still a really good dog. What Chelsea Is Really Like Chelsea is calm, observant, and thoughtful. She doesn’t throw herself at strangers or demand attention—but that’s not a flaw. That’s what makes her different. Because when Chelsea trusts you… everything changes. She becomes: Playful Affectionate Cuddly Completely connected to her person She doesn’t give that to everyone. She gives it to her person. The Right Home for Chelsea Chelsea needs: A calm, lower-traffic home No children Someone who respects that trust takes time A person who wants a real bond—not just a dog that loves everyone She is neutral in public, manageable, and has made real progress with structure and guidance at K9netic Pack. She knows how to exist in the world—she just needs someone to give her a place in it. What You’re Getting You’re not getting chaos. You’re not getting a project. You’re getting a dog who: Bonds deeply Loves hard once she trusts Settles into your life Becomes yours Final Thoughts Chelsea has been overlooked because she doesn’t perform for strangers. But the right person is going to see her—and realize she’s exactly what they’ve been looking for. She’s not for everyone. She’s for someone who wants something real. And when she chooses you, you’ll understand why she was worth the wait. 📍 Located in Poolesville, MD 📚 Adoption includes support through K9netic Pack Apply to adopt Chelsea: www.underdogdivision.org
