Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy.  Don is Looking For:  Hi! I'm Don. Me and my brother Daffy are very much ready to break out of the shelter and find our very own forever homes. I'm looking for a family to show me what a wonderful world lays beyond these shelter walls---lots of neighborhood walks, trips to the dog park and maybe even daycare so I can play with other pups all day long, hikes, car rides, camping---anything really! I just want someone to love and to be loved for the rest of my life. What do you say? Am I the puppy for you? I'm pretty darn cute!  What My Foster Says About Me: Coming soon! Puppy Vetting Requirements:  Lucky Puppies have had their age appropriate vaccines, but may not yet be “fully” vaccinated. It is the adopter’s responsibility to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, they are at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.      Your new puppy will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog!  TO ADOPT:       The adoption fee for this puppy is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter.    If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online bit.ly/adoptaluckydog   Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption. Story
Good day ladies and gents.  My name is Walter.  I’m a four-year-old pointer mix dog, full of energy and super smart.  My mind is always going, so I would do best in a household that not only has a back yard I can run in, but is also willing to take me on decent walks at a minimum two times a day.  If you’re a jogger, that would be even better.  I absolutely love people, though I can be a bit standoffish with uninvited guests in the home or service workers.  Since I am a high energy prey dog, I would not do well in a home with young rambunctious cats or small animals, or very young children (6 and under).  My current foster home has two other dogs (a senior and young adult) and 6 cats of varying ages.  They consistently remind me to leave the young cats alone because sometime I pester them too much.  I would enjoy a home with another dog, but it is not a requirement.  If my energetic needs are met then I am more than happy to hang out alone at home until you return from work.  My current foster family does not crate me, though I have been before.  I know basic commands like sit, down, stay and paw.  If someone were looking to try out agility training or search and rescue, I would probably be a star.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters.
