Story
Prince was surrendered to rescue after his family was unable to find housing that would allow pets. We were originally told he was a purebred lab. We have not had his DNA tested. He was quite rambunctious upon arrival. We wanted to get him neutered quickly to try and reduce those hormones. During his vetting, he was found to be heartworm positive/ He has been completely vetted and has had his heartworm treatment. He has now been house trained and crate trained. Prince is now looking for an active family to join. He is a high energy boy, but very well behaved. This dapping young man is what you've been looking for to go hiking and enjoy the great outdoors. Prince is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Story
Mimi, Sally and Magic are all siblings that were found and an abandoned house in the summer. They are considered bonded but can be separated however, if someone wanted to adopt two of them, I would suggest Mimi and Sally as they are the most bonded. Mimi is very curious and prefers the indoors more than the other two. She’s pretty calm and well behaved in the house, although they are all young dogs and like to get into things occasionally like tearing up dog blankets and towels if they can get their paws on them. They are all very highly motivated and can get pretty excited around mealtime. When they have been to pet's bar, people have commented how calm and well behaved they are however they can get pretty rowdy outside running and playing in the field, very sweet natured with good temperament. I would say they are for the most part house trained. There has been only one accident in the house from the three of them in three months, but they spend a lot of time outdoors. An adapter would need to know that they were definitely may need some close supervision in the house at first. These dogs are being fostered in the south but included in your adoption fee is transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Story
Miss-Fit was surrendered with her mother and siblings. The family did not want the puppies and were planning to take to the local kill shelter at 3 days old. Mom was allowed to come also and was to be returned. The family moved and would not return our calls. Mom and pups are now vetted and ready for their forever homes. She got her name as she was the runt and could walk through the openings and wander around the home. She is precious and needs a family to train her as she grows. She is fostered in E. TN, but transport and health certificate for out of state transport provided by Rescue Riders LLC is included in the adoption fee. This boy was brought in with his mom and siblings. Woody is a sweet boy but very shy. He is good with other dogs and people, he just needs time to adjust. He is not an explorer by any means, he likes to have his one space and stay there. He is playful and happy when he gets to know a person and has never shown any meanness with others. He is a beautiful boy looking for a forever home. He is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.
