This pup is eligible for our Test the Couch program — a 7-day trial adoption to see if your home (and your couch) is the perfect fit. Learn more  https://pipsrescue.org/test-the-couch/ Meet Hip Hop — or as we lovingly referred to at home as Chestnut & Brownie Boy!   Hip Hop is a sweet, playful teenager with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He’s settled beautifully into his routine in his foster home and is fully potty trained and crate trained — though he’s also doing great with free roam of the house at bed times and when left alone with his foster sibling.    This beautiful boy loves squeaky toys (and takes his squeaker-hunting duties very seriously). He is a big fan of chew toys, treats, and antlers. Give him a good chew while you’re working or cooking dinner, and he’ll happily keep himself busy.   Hip Hop enjoys his walks and outdoor adventures — he’s strong, curious, and full of enthusiasm! He’s still working on his leash manners and pulling, but he’s learning. In the backyard, he’s a total goofball & full of energy. He loves to run, romp, and play tug-of-war with his foster sibling. The two of them can wrestle and chase each other for hours. He would do well in a home with another puppy play mate   Hip Hop He can be a little shy around new people at first, but once he warms up, his silly, affectionate side shines through.   Like any teen, Hip Hop is full of energy and personality and still learning a few polite habits. He can get a bit excited when playing, but he’s eager to please and very trainable as he is very food and treat motivated.   After a busy day, Hip Hop loves nothing more than curling up on the couch for snuggles and TV time — especially if there are animals or Disney movies on! When bedtime rolls around, he likes to be tucked into his blanket. He is also the cutest snorer.    Overall, he is a 10/10 Good boy. ##2261949##

This sweet dog is the kind of companion who makes every day better just by being there. With a loving heart, a gentle spirit, and a playful spark, they’re the perfect mix of fun and comfort. They enjoy spending time with people, soaking up affection, and sharing quiet moments just as much as playtime. Smart, loyal, and eager to bond, this pup is ready to become someone’s best friend and lifelong family member. All they’re missing is a home to call their own—and a person to love forever.

Story
When I first picked up Dreamy, she was in terrible shape, emaciated with her hair thin and brittle. Even so, all she wanted was attention. With proper nutrition and a lot of love, she is now a happy, healthy, beautiful girl. She loves everyone she meets and wants nothing but to be close to you and rubbed. She loves her crate and will go in it on her own to sleep when she is tired. She is totally house trained and does her business outside. She has lots of energy and would love an active person to match her energy level. She would make someone a great jogging companion. She loves to go on walks but is a strong girl and will pull in the beginning, however, she settles down the longer she walks. She loves to play with the other large dog in my home and they get along great. She is so energetic I must watch to keep her from tiring him out and overwhelming him. Dreamy will make someone a great and loving pet. Please consider giving her a loving home.

Story
Kapono has been left alone since Saturday morning. His owner has been trying to get rid of him for 2 weeks and was hospitalized on Saturday. She likely won't be back for a few weeks. He is crate and house trained. We think he is 9 months old. He is 22.6% American Foxhound; 19.1% German Shepherd; 16.4% Great Pyrenees; 9.6% Chow Chow. He is a little rambunctious right now, but I think that is because he is being crated most of the day. When I use my alpha voice, he listens well. We are looking to find a home for him so that he is not left alone.

Story
Budreau is a playful, cuddly boy with a joyful spirit and a big heart. He rides beautifully in the car and is always ready for the next adventure — especially if it ends with snuggles. One of his favorite things is gently waking you up in the morning for hugs before starting his day. He loves to run and play with his dog friends, chew on his favorite toys, and engage in a good game of tug-of-war. Budreau would thrive in a home with a fenced yard or regular access to a safe play area, and he would do best with another playful dog to help burn off his happy energy. While he rarely barks and enjoys meeting new people, he can be a little cautious at first. Give him a moment, though, and his goofy, affectionate personality quickly shines through. Budreau is housetrained and does very well on a consistent routine. He wakes up ready to play, enjoys activity throughout the day, and is equally happy settling in for cozy naps. He would likely do great with kids. His compatibility with cats is unknown. Budreau is up to date on vaccines, preventatives, and microchipped, and will soon be neutered. He's ready to find a home where he can share his playful energy and loving nature.
