Story
Junebug is a playful, loving Foxhound who loves to run and play with people and other dogs, and her family adores her — they're just expecting a new addition and want to find her a home that can give her the attention she deserves. Junebug has typical activity needs for a hound. She loves walking the neighborhood, sniffing out every detail along the way, and can comfortably join a 2–3 mile run — something she absolutely loves. She's energetic without being overwhelming, and does great at the dog park too. Junebug would thrive in a home with a yard and other dogs or people around to play with. She's house trained, understands basic commands (come, sit, stay, go to your spot), is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and has no medications or special dietary needs.

Story
Harris is 3 years old and 45 pounds. He is fully house trained and does not require a crate. He is fine on a leash, but is very shy in public, so he would need plenty of time to get used to walking in public. He is shy when meeting new people, but once he warms up to you, he is so sweet and loving. Totally worth the extra time needed. He loves other dogs, especially playing tug of war with the other dogs. He is great with kids and will make a great family dog. He will need a fenced yard as he will take a while to get used to walking on a leash due to his fear. Give this pup some time, and he will make such a perfect addition to your family. Apply to adopt, foster, volunteer, or donate to our nonprofit at www.lovemuttsrescue.org

Story
Meet Ms. Stevie! Stevie is an absolute love bug. She was dumped at a young age and we don’t know much beyond that. This means that most aspects of being someone’s dog are new to her and right now, new things make her nervous. When she first came to us she didn’t know how to eat, play, or even bark. She is learning and embracing so much every day she just needs someone to help her be brave! She’s the perfect sidekick to play in the yard or snuggle up on the couch. Stevie loves playing with other dogs and toys. Her only interest in cats is the possibility of more potential playmates. We are working on house training and walking on a leash. She’s 90% of the way to both and only requires a little patience (and lots of treats) to get her the rest of the way. Also how cute are the little spots on the bottom of her paws 🥹 Stevie is being brave every day! Maybe you should be brave and apply to adopt her 👀

This pup is eligible for our Test the Couch program — a 7-day trial adoption to see if your home (and your couch) is the perfect fit. Learn more  https://pipsrescue.org/test-the-couch/ Meet Hip Hop — or as we lovingly referred to at home as Chestnut & Brownie Boy!   Hip Hop is a sweet, playful teenager with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He’s settled beautifully into his routine in his foster home and is fully potty trained and crate trained — though he’s also doing great with free roam of the house at bed times and when left alone with his foster sibling.    This beautiful boy loves squeaky toys (and takes his squeaker-hunting duties very seriously). He is a big fan of chew toys, treats, and antlers. Give him a good chew while you’re working or cooking dinner, and he’ll happily keep himself busy.   Hip Hop enjoys his walks and outdoor adventures — he’s strong, curious, and full of enthusiasm! He’s still working on his leash manners and pulling, but he’s learning. In the backyard, he’s a total goofball & full of energy. He loves to run, romp, and play tug-of-war with his foster sibling. The two of them can wrestle and chase each other for hours. He would do well in a home with another puppy play mate   Hip Hop He can be a little shy around new people at first, but once he warms up, his silly, affectionate side shines through.   Like any teen, Hip Hop is full of energy and personality and still learning a few polite habits. He can get a bit excited when playing, but he’s eager to please and very trainable as he is very food and treat motivated.   After a busy day, Hip Hop loves nothing more than curling up on the couch for snuggles and TV time — especially if there are animals or Disney movies on! When bedtime rolls around, he likes to be tucked into his blanket. He is also the cutest snorer.    Overall, he is a 10/10 Good boy. ##2261949##

Learn more  https://pipsrescue.org/test-the-couch/ Meet Jazz – your future backyard explorer, chase champion, and certified cuddle bug! While she’s not quite a swimmer (she’s more of a "dip a paw in and call it good" kind of gal), Jazz is all about the adventures in the fenced-in yard, sniffing out every blade of grass and investigating all things fun. If you’ve got a playmate for her, she’s ready to unleash her zoomies and show off her chase skills – she’s got the fastest paws in the game. Jazz is sweet, loves all the attention, and will definitely work her way into your heart with her charm and snuggles. Food-motivated and eager to please, she learns quickly – so training is a breeze if you’ve got treats on hand. She’s crate trained and housetrained (she knows where the bathroom is, no need for a tour), but honestly, she’d rather skip the crate and curl up next to you for a good snuggle session. Bonus points if you’ve got a fellow pup to keep her company. Jazz would love a playmate to share her backyard adventures and zoomies with. So if you're looking for a sweet, playful, and cuddly companion, Jazz is your girl!  ##2261955##

Story
When I first picked up Dreamy, she was in terrible shape, emaciated with her hair thin and brittle. Even so, all she wanted was attention. With proper nutrition and a lot of love, she is now a happy, healthy, beautiful girl. She loves everyone she meets and wants nothing but to be close to you and rubbed. She loves her crate and will go in it on her own to sleep when she is tired. She is totally house trained and does her business outside. She has lots of energy and would love an active person to match her energy level. She would make someone a great jogging companion. She loves to go on walks but is a strong girl and will pull in the beginning, however, she settles down the longer she walks. She loves to play with the other large dog in my home and they get along great. She is so energetic I must watch to keep her from tiring him out and overwhelming him. Dreamy will make someone a great and loving pet. Please consider giving her a loving home.

Story
Robi is a sweet, loving, and playful 1-year-old mixed-breed pupper. It truly breaks my heart that I have to rehome Robi, as he's one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met. Unfortunately I have to go out of town regularly to deal with a family member's health issues, and Robi needs more care and attention than I can currently provide. I adopted him in November 2025 from a shelter, and as of July 2026, he's 1 year old. He is very friendly, good-natured, and generally well-behaved, but he's very energetic and tends to get very excitable around other dogs, though he's not aggressive. He has completed basic obedience training and been to a few sessions with a canine behavioral therapist, but he needs a human who can provide him with more space and exercise than I'm able to give at the moment.
