You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Spunky Frenchie!Meet Eloise – A Petite Pup with a Giant Heart! Age: 3 years | Weight: 24 lbs | Breed: French Bulldog | Spayed Say hello to Eloise, a 3-year-old French Bulldog with a heart full of love and a face full of personality. This darling girl is looking for a forever home where she can be the center of your universe—she prefers to be your one and only furry companion. Eloise is all about the snuggles and sunshine. She adores belly rubs, gentle kisses on her smooshy face, and lounging in the warm rays of the sun. A backyard to call her own would be a dream come true—she loves to explore and chase after squirrels and birds with joyful determination. While she came to us with some medical needs, we're helping her get the care she deserves. Eloise will need continued support for her skin issues and her recent Cherry eye surgery was a great success! She’s incredibly resilient and has so much love to give in return for a little extra TLC. Because of her sensitive nature, Eloise will thrive in a calm, quiet home with adults or older children, and no other pets. She’s longing for someone with a big heart and a cozy lap to help her blossom. Could you be the one to give Eloise the happy, healthy future she deserves?    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 14, 2025, 7:31 pm

Story
Coach is a 1 year old bulldog mix who came into the shelter with a recent history of rectal prolapse, repaired with a local emergency room partner. As of 12/9/25, he has had another rectal prolapse. He has had intermitten diarrhea in shelter, which can worsen risk of prolpase. Prolapse can occur from straining due to diarrhea or other causes of increased abdominal pressure (breed related respiratory changes). He has received metronidazole, propectalin, proviable probiotics - we are now trialing hydrolyzed diet and psyllium husk, as well as ongoing probiotics. Stress of sheltering can worsen diarrhea. Due to recurrent rectal prolapse, Coach is in need of rescue as stress of shelter is not helping his medical condition.

Story
Meet Stitch! Stitch is a handsome little clown who came to AFRP after some unexpected medical drama. Fully healed now, he’s ready to find his forever human… someone who’s prepared to be loved, adored, and obsessed over 24/7. This guy LOVES toys. Balls? Yes. Chew toys? Absolutely. He thrives on being the center of attention and will happily perform his full comedy routine just to make you smile. Life with Stitch is basically a non-stop episode of “cute chaos.” Even with all his energy, Stitch is a total gentleman on leash and has excellent manners—he’s proof that a little goofball can also be a well-behaved, charming companion. He’s not a fan of sharing the spotlight, so Stitch wants to be your one-and-only furry child. Other dogs? Nope. Cats? Nope. Stitch wants your heart all to himself. He’s a reactive pup, so a fenced yard and adopters with experience handling reactive dogs are a must. Bonus points if you already know how to pamper a smooshy-faced brachycephalic boy—he’s extra adorable but has a few quirks that come with that face. Stitch does require proof of pre-registration for one-on-one training sessions to help him grow in confidence (and maybe boss you around a little less… maybe). ** This pet is a Foster-to-Adopt candidate! That means you can foster them for a short trial period to make sure they’re the perfect match for your home before finalizing the adoption. If you’re interested, please complete both a foster application and an adoption application so we can get the process started. ** \ Stitch is currently in a loving foster home. A meet and greet can be scheduled once an online application has been submitted and approved by AFRP staff. Visit www.animalfriendsrescue.org to fill one out today!

Story
Koda  is recovering from a difficult past and a recent ear surgery, but you’d never know it from his spirit. He’s an incredibly sweet, outgoing, and friendly dog who gets along well with kids, cats, and dogs of all sizes. Koda  loves to play with toys and fetch them!   He also loves zoomies with his foster siblings.  He currently lives with two large pit mixes and a poodle mix, and he loves playing with all of them, being particularly skilled at matching their play style and energy.   Energy Level?  Not very high  House trained?  Working on it  Describe how they are on a leash?  Easy, he's a great walker. Describe how they are with other dogs?  Great! Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  He has not lived with cats but he has met a dog savvy cat and did fine.  Commands they know?  Sit, and he is good with name recall  What are their favorite things?  Snuggles, toys, and friends  What do they need to work on?  Potty training-We are being patient, but French Bulldogs are known to be challenging with potty training, but he will get there! How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  He stays in his crate when not supervised.  Longest alone has been 4 hours.  Where do they sleep?  In bed  What is their ideal home?   Koda ’s ideal home would be one that can provide lots of love and attention to this super special pup.  He loves to snuggle his humans.  He is quite the couch potato and would stay there all day if he could.  But, just as much as he loves a good cuddle, he also loves to play with his foster brothers and sisters and go on little strolls through the neighborhood.  He really is an easy-going guy.  The ideal home would also understand that Frenchies do require a bit of extra care and is willing to offer that. Koda's Adoption fee is $525.   For adoption consideration or to meet our dogs , please complete our online adoption application at  www.everypetsdream.org/adopt . W e will have everything we need to know to call you back and set up an appointment.  Follow us: Facebook and Instagram November 8, 2025, 12:03 am
