Dior is a very lovely caring playful baby. She will be turning 1 in Jan. She loves playing with kids and loves bone toys. She still sleeps alot during the day. Shes potty trained to go outside to do her necessaries. Shes also very good at meeting new people. I would love a family with kids so she wont feel alone in the future.

Meet Enzo the French Bulldog! Enzo is looking to be the canine star in his next home. Enzo is enjoys his daily exercise of walking at least 3 miles a day so an active adopter that can keep up with him would be required in his next home. Enzo has successfully lived with dog-friendly cats after a slow, thoughtful introduction but does need to be the only dog in the home. You see, Enzo has big feelings about dogs being in his home and sometimes this results in conflicts between him and other dogs. Enzo has made friends out on walks and at the dog park and would likely enjoy having canine friends out in the world, as long as they do not come home with him. Enzo’s previous guardian reports that he is crate trained, house trained and does well left alone during 8 hour work shifts in the home. Enzo has been a personable, social butterfly since his entry to the Shelter. Come meet him today!The Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Foundation is now offering “Pawsitivity Bucks” with every dog adoption. This $200 training voucher is a way for newly adopted canines and their guardians to connect with local positive reinforcement based behavior consultants and get their relationship started off on the right paw!Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
