Story
I have 3 triplet grand puppies I need to Rehome. I love them with my whole heart. Their mom's dad was my mom's dog. My mom passed away. I planned on breeding one in 5 years like I did their mother - to keep the lineage. With these 3 I have 5 dogs and the dogs have become a problem in my marriage so I need to find them a good place to live where they will be loved as much as I love them. Their dad is a French bull dog so they are French bull shihtz (google it :)). I deworm them every 6 weeks and gave them their rabies shot at a pet clinic (dec 24) which is good for 3 years and they are licensed in San Jose for a year (because they are not spayed).

Story
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption Fee: $250 Jenga's adoption fee has been partially sponsored by a generous donor! Jenga is a 3 year old French Bulldog who we rescued from the local shelter. A cold kennel is no place for such a handsome guy like Jenga! This dude is all the best parts of the Frenchie breed. Those who know and love Frenchies should look no further than Jenga. We will be prioritizing homes who have experience with this type of breed and are aware of their health concerns. Jenga has seen an eye specialist and is blind in one eye and is missing partial vision in the other. He still sees enough not to bump into things. To be honest, he’s so confident that it took us a few months to notice he couldn’t see too well, which says a lot about him! He doesn’t let a little thing like vision stop him from living his best life. The eye issue is not congential but rather a lack of care. He has damage to the corneas from an injury. Poor dude never got the help he needed to protect his eyes. It does give him a bit of a funny look, but we think it's adorable! Below is a note from Jenga’s foster.  Jenga is a very sweet dog who would love nothing more than to curl up on your lap and snuggle the day away. He sometimes gets the absolute funniest zoomies when he needs to get bursts of energy out, but he is a total couch potato. Unlike any other dog I have ever fostered, Jenga seems to know when screens are in front of him and loves to show off for attention on Zoom calls, which is a truly amazing skill for a dog who can’t see very well. When the camera calls, it calls!  He is just such a character.  Jenga wakes up around 8 AM and goes for a morning walk about half an hour later. He gets breakfast at 9 AM. When I work from home. he loves to cuddle next to me on the couch or take naps on the floor nearby. He gets another walk at around 6:30 PM and then gets his dinner. He goes to bed with me around 11:30 PM.  Jenga walks very well on the leash. He loves to sniff all the good smells out there and show off his amazing looks to his adoring public. Due to his vision issues, Jenga would do best as a solo dog in his forever home, as he startles easily when he is surprised. This distinguished gentleman is looking for his throne and we promised we’d deliver him one! Jenga is only an option for those who have prior dog experience, with priority given to those who understand the Frenchie breed. Kids in the home should be over the age of 7. December 3, 2024, 6:37 pm

Story
Linus is part of Charlie Brown Litter. Holly mom is French Bull Dog /Boston Terrier mix. 2/16/24 DNA test results: Dad was a Cattle Dog 40% and 9% Border Collie. They should be medium size adults and smart. Holly was abandoned at a distant shelter and was very pregnant. Linus' DOB: 12/1/23. Once we rescued Holly and she arrived at her foster home within 2 hours she went into labor and gave birth to 5 puppies. 2 girls and 3 boys. Whew! Just in time. All the pups and mom did great at their foster home. Home raised healthy lovable and social. The 5 pups are now learning at their next foster home for puppy training. All are playful snuggly and lovable. We do not know what they are mixed with. They seem larger than Frenchie pups and have tails. We will start to review applications Jan 20th. Puppies will be 8 weeks old on Jan. 27th and will get their first vaccinations and deworm. Need home with attached backyard. More info. to come on each puppy's personality. 1/24/24 Update: The 3 boys are fairly similar all playful and slower than the girls. Linus and Snoopy are a little more timid but get more playful when riled up by Brody. All love attention and to be held. They all did very well getting their first shots and these puppies are extremely smart and well behaved for such young puppies. They are learning sit and not to bite and are all doing very very well. They will make wonderful family pets for someone. Their temperament is fantastic gentle playful and sweet. 2/9/24 Update 10 weeks old: Patty is definitely the smallest with smallest paws. Snoopy and Linus are about the same size 12 pounds and Patty is 10 lbs.. I think they will be medium sized dogs. Snoopy and Linus are slower and calmer. Patty is spunky and more independent and curious and a little more Frenchie personality . All learning crate training. Few accidents on pee pads now. They will hold to go out to backyard for potty biz. 3/15/24 Need foster home for one on one puppy training and socials.November 4, 2024, 2:12 pm

Story
Hi, I am Pepper or Pep for short. I am about 2 years old, and I am thriving in my foster home after just a short time. My favorite things to chew are balls. I love tennis balls and soccer balls, although I don't always bring them back. I am easy to walk on the leash but I also like running around the yard. I am mostly and active girl who likes to play but I also make a really good working companion by taking long naps while my foster parents' work. I am crate trained and am very responsive to treats. I am good at coming when called, thanks to the rewards I get and have responded well to training with treats (although the treats need to be the good stuff). I am a bit reactive to small critters, but with training I may be able to be redirected. I am very curious and just love to see what you are doing and spending time with you. Currently being fostered in Los Gatos, CA. IF you would like to meet her, please fill out a n adoption application on our website www.californiabullyrescue.org/adopt

Story
Lola enjoys meeting new people and is generous with her affection. She is a Bulldog mix and is approximately 7 years old. She needs lifelong medication for her chronic dry eye and environmental allergies, both of which are under good control with her current regimen. She recently had to have her right eye removed but has healed well from the surgery. She is current on all vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. She is house-trained and crate-trained. She would love a new home where she can get the attention and affection she so enjoys. She should be placed as an only dog, as she does not get along with other dogs.
