Poor little poppy was abandoned at a dog park before a good samaritan took her to a local city shelter. That shelter didn't have the resources to care for her and she was scheduled to be euthanized. THANKFULLY, a past employee of ours now works at the animal hospital utilized by the shelter. She stepped in, called us, and that's where Poppy's new life began. Poppy has IVDD which has caused her to be paralyzed in her hind limbs and unable to go potty by herself. Her journey has been rocky, but you would never know the hardships this little one has had to endure after spending a mere 5 minutes with her. She has an undeniable enthusiasm for life, and her resilient spirit and glowing personality shine so bright it’s nearly impossible to not immediately fall for her. Disc issues are fairly common for her breed, and unfortunately her hind legs are paralyzed, and she will not be able to use them normally again. For now, she’s perfectly happy scooting around on her front two legs and getting used to her wheelchair too. She’s a fast learner, and at three years old has a lot of potential and is very eager to impress her human friends with her speed and versatility. Poppy needs to be expressed several times a day because she can’t go potty by herself, and it may seem like a daunting task, but we promise with some practice it becomes second nature in no time! Our dedicated staff is happy to show you the ropes if you’re interested in this little lady. Other than needing to be expressed and not being able to use her hind legs Poppy is a healthy and happy girl who just wants to spread her joy to the world. She's got the best most trusting and loving personality a pup can have. She’s a truly unique and remarkable little creature! Her ideal forever home will include an owner who has experience and time to care for a special needs dog, and ideally no other dogs as Poppy can be a little dog selective. She tends to get along best with mellow senior pups, but also wouldn't be opposed to reserving all the love for herself. Sweetpea is the definition of sweet! She would do best in a home where the humans are home a lot, since she wants to be with her humans desperately. Sweetpea loves walks, to play, and just be by your side. She's a little lover that's great with other dogs and older children. Younger kids and elderly in the home can be okay, but probably not ideal, since she has the typical bulldog tendencies of bulldozing her way through (in the cutest way of course). Cats untested! Sweetpea is currently being fostered in Arizona.

Lulu is a 3 year old breeder throw away that was saved from euthanasia at the last minute. She is a treasure and we couldn’t be happier for her to have a chance at love. She’s a beautiful, adorable little gremlin that would do great in a home with kids older than 4 yrs since she isn’t aware her bulldog curves can make her a bowling ball when she’s excited. Can’t blame a girl for her body positivity! You go Lulu, girl! Lulu would be great with an English bulldog experienced owner that understands their unique character traits, but that’s not a requirement, as long as you’ll love & be patient with her the way she’ll be with you. Lulu has a preference for being the dominant female, so we think it would be best to put her in a home with male dogs only. She is spayed, potty trained & ready for a furever home with her soul person. If you think that could be you, feel free to reach out. She’d love to meet you ❤️
