Beau is about 2.5 years old. We saved him from a kill shelter when he was 5 months old. He has been an inside dog for 2 years. He does good with small dogs. He gets very excited and has a lot of energy. He is good with kids but is a clumsy boy so he has been known to knock us over every once in a while. He is crate trained. He loves to play fetch and go on runs. Does good with a leash and beep collar. He needs a home with someone who has the energy to play and be outside with him. He needs space. Wouldn't recommend being around chickens.

He loves being part of the family and is happiest when he's included in daily activities but is very shy at first.While he hasn't had many interactions with other dogs, he gets very excited when he sees them and seems eager to play. He also lived with a cat that was adopted at 3 weeks old, and the two became best friends despite their size difference.Major has allergies that require ongoing management, including a monthly allergy shot that can be costly due to his size. He may scratch, chew, or pull out fur when he's itchy, though this has improved over time.
