You see, I was found on the side of the road barely alive after being hit by a car. I couldn't walk very well because my pelvis was broken in three places. But after visiting this place called the veterinarian, I started feeling much better. It's a tale they hear all the time. I don't want the dog, or life's changed and we can't take the dog anymore... but I was dumped at a park for weeks before someone noticed that I was "living there. A kind person took me in and I have been in foster care ever since. Waiting for my turn when someone will say that's the girl for me! I am kind and love my person very much. So much in fact that I would prefer a home that is just me and my people. Speaking of people. When it comes to kids I am not the biggest fan. The perfect home would be one that has grown children and they are looking for a new partner to love on. I am an extreme couch potato and one of my most favorite activities would be to lay on the couch under a nice blanket and just be. You see I am starting to show the early signs of arthritis. Enzo is a very sweet and loyal dog. He wants to be protective of his family which can be a challenge with young children he doesn't know. He has never bitten a human. Enzo loves to play fetch with balls, swim and walk in the woods. He would make a great companion for someone who is familiar with dogs and is in a quiet adult only household. We are making the difficult decision to rehome our sweet dog Enzo. Enzo is an all-white, 100lb, 2-year-old German Shepherd/Lab mix. His DNA results show he is 50% German Shepherd, 25% lab and 25% border collie. We adopted Enzo from a rescue at a farm in Mississippi when he was four months old. He is an incredibly loyal dog who likes to work. He has been in pack dog training since we adopted him and is always around dogs. Since Enzo was a puppy, we have been working with two different trainers, including behavioral training. He is very smart and good at his commands. Still, Enzo is very protective of his humans, which can be problematic in a neighborhood environment where many unknown kids and other animals are coming and going. Enzo loves running, digging, chasing, chewing on balls, and swimming. Enzo is in his element while in the woods and following new scents. His perfect home is one where he has ample outdoor space to run and explore in. Enzo is up to date with his vaccinations and neutered.
