She warms up quickly to kind people and did amazing building confidence steadily in foster care.The Baylynn scoop:• Housebroken overall; occasional stress-related accidents noted during major changes/events• Enjoys puzzle toys and benefits from mental enrichment• Rides well in the car with a secured seatbelt• Affectionate and people-oriented• Intelligent and learns quickly with consistency and patience• Prefers to be a solo dog in her home - enjoys outside playdates, but likes to be queen of her castleBaylynn has a history of stress-related separation behaviors and significant kennel stress, including chewing the end of her tail while in a kennel setting. In foster, she showed improvement while on anxiety medication and with increased time in a home environment. She does not currently do well crated and has been more successful confined to a dining room/space versus a crate.Baylynn would thrive with a family that is dedicated to helping her with confidence-building exercises, enrichment activities, and gradual alone-time work. Her foster reported that she was always making progress and described her as an amazing girl!Baylynn is currently in a foster home, but is avaliable to adopt! Meet Lennox!! He is a little over a year old (born 10/22) German Shepherd mix who weighs 65 pounds! He is looking for his forever people. Lennox is a very active boy who will do well with clear instructions and consistency. He is working on the words “no, stay, sit, back off, leave it, drop it, house, and done”. He still has an occasional accident in the house especially when he is focused on play. He loves a good tennis ball and can play for hours. He is learning to walk without pulling, gets excited when he sees dogs his own size and seems to want to chase cats that run. He has lived with cats before, but testing is critical. In his foster home, he has a fenced in yard, but does not like to be out on his own. He really wants someone to play ball with him. Currently he is working on “house’ during the workday and ‘house’ overnight. He does well through the night, but he will bark for a short time until he settles down. He is still working on spending the day in the crate. He would thrive in an active family who could take him out for several walks or to play ball. He is a loving boy with a big heart, loves to cuddle on the couch, and did we mention he loves his tennis balls. WE ARE LOCATED IN MASON OHIO Nova is a 2-year-old German Shepherd who is an incredibly sweet and loving dog. She is wonderful with our children and has been a great family companion. Nova loves attention, enjoys cuddling, and is happiest when she's spending time with her people.She does have a high prey drive toward our cat and will try to chase or attack her, so we keep them separated at all times. Because of this, Nova would do best in a home without cats or other small animals, but keeping them separate could also work or having a place the cat can hide Nova is a very good girl with a loving personality, and we're looking for a home where she can continue to receive the attention, affection, and care she deserves.
