Athena is a friendly girl who has is very high energy. She would would greatly benefit from an active home with plenty of space to run and play. Athena is good with other dogs, puppies, and kids. While she has been around kids ages 0+ she my be a bit much for the smaller ones. Due to her energy level and her not being aware of her size she might accidentally know them over. Athena is not good with cats. While she does know a few commands, such as, sit and paw, she will need consistent and ongoing training and enrichment to keep her being the best girl she can be. She was crate and house trained when she came to us, however she may need a refresher due to being in a shelter setting. The warrior princess Xena is a beautiful, 5 year old Shepard mix. She is friendly with people and male dogs that are larger in size. (Unsure about female dogs) She knows basic commands and is very low energy. She likes to hangout where the family is and cuddling is her favorite! Shes great with kids and has been around kids of all ages. She is fearful of SOME men due to her abuse history and so introductions to adult men should be done slowly. Xena would do best in a home as an only pet but could be homed with a larger male dog. No cats for Xena. She is housebroken and crate trained. Adoption fee includes all vaccines up to date, spay/neuter and microchip.

Telly is a beautiful 1 1/2 year old, male, Shepard/terrier mix, that weighs about 70 pounds. Telly is the gentlest giant, so loving, playful and just a good boy! He loves to run and play but also likes to just curl up next to you on the couch! He loves to take his stuffed animals everywhere! He's a big boy but he's unbelievably gentle! He is around his foster's 4yr old granddaughter everyday and does great with her. They play tug of war all the time! He does well with other dogs and loves his people. He seems to do ok with cats even though he was really scared of them at first but he has not tried to hurt them. He's house broken and crate trained! He’s really Just a big baby that just wants love! Adoption fee includes all up to date vaccines, microchip and neuter.

She is spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped and being slow treated for heart worm. If you are looking for an energetic girl to go on hikes or long walks, Dottie is the one for you.  She was born around 01/2019, she weighs 40 pounds and her adoption fee is $250.   If you are interested in adopting Dottie, you can fill out an application at www.adoggie4you.org.   This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cin cinnati, Lexington KY, or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225 . We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
