Story
Darwin is a good dog and would really benefit from a home with land or with owners that have time to provide the exercise he needs. We got him as a puppy in 2019 from a breeder that lived on a farm. His birthday is 6/21/2019. He is crate trained but still has accidents occasionally. He lives in a house with other dogs, cats, and children. He has never harmed the cats, but isn’t a huge fan of them. When we aren’t home, we have him gated off in our laundry room with our other large dog. He has began getting aggressive with her and has been acting out (destructive). We love Darwin, but this current living arrangement isn’t healthy for us or the dog. He loves to go on walks and play with toys. His favorite are tennis balls. We want the peace of mind that Darwin is rehomed with a family that can provide what he needs. We will make sure he is up to date on vaccinations before we rehome.

Story
Say hello to Juniper Belle, a sweet and soulful pup with a soft spot for treats and a serious love for snuggling. Whether she’s curled up beside you on the couch or chasing her beloved tennis ball in the yard, Juniper Belle is all about enjoying life’s simple pleasures. This smart girl already knows how to “sit” and would love to keep learning—especially if there are snacks involved! She would benefit from consistent training and enrichment to thrive in her new home. She was housebroken when she came to us, but may need a refresher from being in the shelter setting. She`s friendly with people and enjoys making new human friends, though she hasn’t done well with children in the past as she has a more active play style. Juniper Belle can be a bit picky with her doggy pals and prefers slow introductions with calm, respectful dogs. If you have either kids or dogs at home, we highly recommend bringing them in for a meet-and-greet to ensure a good match. We’re not sure how she feels about cats just yet. A slow introduction at home is key if you have any cats at home. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will happily snuggle up with you after a game of fetch, Juniper Belle might just be your perfect match. Come meet her here at the SPCA Cincinnati and all of our other adoptable pets!

Story
Hi I`m Nova! I am a VERY energetic 2yr old German Shepherd. I love to play with toys and run around, so if you have a big fenced in yard I would surely love it. I am not a fan of cats or other dogs so I would prefer to go home as the only pet in the home. I know certain commands such as sit, but would love to further my education. I have not had the pleasure of being around kids yet but I would love to try and make new friends, so please bring them in to meet with me! If I sound like a perfect girl to you, come to the SPCA today and meet me!
