Meet Gunnar! I’ve had him since 8 weeks old and he’s now 10 months. He’s a playful, intelligent German Shepherd who loves fetch, long play sessions, and burning off energy. He’s leash trained, crate trained, and house trained, though he still needs supervision as he’s curious and mischievous. He’s friendly with dogs and people, though he gets excited and may jump up. Protective at home but social and outgoing elsewhere. Very high energy, he needs daily physical and mental stimulation to be his happiest. He’s up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Not neutered yet, which is intentional for his age and breed. He would thrive with someone who understands GSDs and can give him the time, structure, and activity he deserves.

Ace is 5 years old. His birthday is September 4th 2020. I got Ace from a breeder in the Blanchester area who loves her pups. Ace is very smart, listens well, and has been very well trained. Ace loves to go for walks and is obsessed with his tennis ball. Ace does have a very sensitive stomach and his food of choice is Blue Buffalo. Table food is not for Ace. Ace is very loving to all adults and will brighten any day. Unfortunately Ace does not do well with little kids (under 8) I would say. He gets very nervous around them. Other dogs would take a lot of time to get used to as he is very territorial. He does have anxiety and is on medication to help with his small challenges. Ace does not do crates well and has been free to roam since a young age. We do close all bedroom, bathroom doors while we are away. We have 2 kids under 3 and he has not adjusted to them like we thought he would and with another baby in the future we've come to the tough decision to try and rehome our furry buddy.

Kai is a black & cream 16 month old female German Shepherd who is part of a bonded pair (see Bear's info) . Kai, 75 lbs., has her shots, is spayed, microchipped. Kai loves people, loves to cuddle, & share her favorite toy with you or play keep away from her sister, Bear. Although raised with small dogs & cats she has become more aggressive toward my small dogs in the household which is reason for re-homing.Enjoys chasing cats, but when caught she licks & tugs on them which kitties don't like. The ideal home for Kai is one with no small dogs or cats. She also loves being outside so a large fenced yard is a must. I know she would also like to be adopted with her sister, Bear if at all possible. They are best friends, sisters, & litter mates. If you have no small dogs or cats, a large fenced yard, & a loving heart, please consider offering Kai (& hopefully Bear) her forever home. Thank you.

Bear is a 16 month old purebred white, female, 77 lb German Shepherd, & is part of a bonded pair- (see Kai 's info). She is up to date on her shots, spayed, crate trained, & potty trained. She loves cuddling, playing with toys, chewing her marrow bones, & playing with her sister, Kai outside in her large fenced yard. Bear is humble, sweet, & thrives on attention from her human. She loves being outside, & especially playing in the snow. She looked like a polar bear cub, so Bear became her name . Unfortunately along with Kai, she has become progressively more aggressive toward my small dogs in the household which requires her to be re-homed. Bear's forever home would be a home with her sister Kai, a fenced yard, & a loving household with no small dogs or cats. She is fine with other large dogs. Bear & her sister, Kai are loving, well socialized dogs & need you to give them your heart & a forever home.

Meet Lennox!! He is a little over a year old (born 10/22) German Shepherd mix who weighs 65 pounds! He is looking for his forever people. Lennox is a very active boy who will do well with clear instructions and consistency. He is working on the words “no, stay, sit, back off, leave it, drop it, house, and done”. He still has an occasional accident in the house especially when he is focused on play. He loves a good tennis ball and can play for hours. He is learning to walk without pulling, gets excited when he sees dogs his own size and seems to want to chase cats that run. He has lived with cats before, but testing is critical. In his foster home, he has a fenced in yard, but does not like to be out on his own. He really wants someone to play ball with him. Currently he is working on “house’ during the workday and ‘house’ overnight. He does well through the night, but he will bark for a short time until he settles down. He is still working on spending the day in the crate. He would thrive in an active family who could take him out for several walks or to play ball. He is a loving boy with a big heart, loves to cuddle on the couch, and did we mention he loves his tennis balls.
