Skye is an athlete who thrives with "room to zoom," loving to race in large fields, fetch, and explore outdoors. Her ideal home must have a large yard or acreage; she is not suited for apartments. She also craves human interaction and wants to be an integral part of her family's daily life. Her current family's hearts are broken, but they seek a home that can offer the space she needs and the love she deserves. Maddox is a 2 year old German Shepherd who didn't have the easiest of starts in life. He came to us severely emaciated, with open sores and little hair from lack of veterinary care. Maddox's skin resolved with antibiotics, flea and tick preventatives and high quality dog food. He has gained over twenty pounds since entering our care in March of 2025. He looks and feels amazing! Maddox has been vaccinated and neutered, he is on monthly preventatives and is microchipped. Now that Maddox is looking and feeling amazing he is looking for a home to call his now. Maddox will need a firm leader with breed experience. He is working on basic manners but he had a poor foundation in life, we can only assume he had little interaction to build this foundation. He is a fast learner and very treat motivated! Maddox does not care for cats or small dogs. He would do best with older children as his exuberance for life could easily knock a little one down!
