Story
Holly is the Queen of Head Tilts and Sweetness. Holly is a gorgeous 3&#226&#128&#145year&#226&#128&#145old German Shepherd with soulful warm eyes and a heart full of love. Holly is very sweet and affectionate and can’t wait to show you how much she will unconditionally love you. She’s the kind of dog who forms deep bonds and wants nothing more than to be by your side, whether you’re relaxing at home or out on an adventure. She has endured far more than any dog should in her short life. Holly came from an Amish breeder who discarded her simply because she couldn’t produce enough puppies. She was treated as a commodity—valued only for what she could provide—until the moment she wasn’t useful anymore. Thankfully, her breeding days are over, and she finally has the chance to live the love&#226&#128&#145filled life she always deserved. Holly adores being with her people and would thrive in a home where someone is around often. She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and eager to learn what love truly feels like. Because of her past, she never had the chance to play with toys, but now she’s discovering the joy of squeaky toys, games of chase, and romping around with her dog friends. Holly is ready for her next chapter—a life where she is cherished and embraced as a true member of a forever family. Please email Adoptions@LaManchaAnimalRescue.org to meet Holly. Housetrained.   Please visit our website at https://www.lamanchaanimalrescue.org to see all of our adoptable dogs.    LaMancha Animal Rescue 855 Doe Run Rd Coatesville PA 19320 Kennel License 1697December 28, 2025, 10:52 pm

She is: &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Crate trained &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Fully house trained &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Smart, sweet, and eager to learn She’ll thrive in a home that has: A steady, well-socialized dog to help build her confidence Patient, understanding humans who can continue her socialization &#226&#143&#179 Time and consistency — she’s made great progress and is ready for more! This girl will blossom with the right family. She’s a truly wonderful dog who just needs someone willing to go slow, show her the world is safe, and celebrate her little victories along the way. Story
Koda is a 8-year-old German Shepherd originally rescued in Yokosuka, Japan when he was just 1 yr old. He is from a family of police dogs, but did not undergo formal training due to abandonment. He has completed basic obedience and is a very loving boy. He is looking for a best friend who will be his companion for the rest of his life. We have had Koda for over 5 years now and never thought we would be in a position to have to rehome, but life threw a curveball at us and we know Koda deserves better than what we can give him now. Koda suffers from separation anxiety, but we are hoping the right person who can meet his needs will ease this transition for him. Koda may need formal behavioral training due to his reactivity from years of under-stimulation. It is imperative to us that he does not get rehomed again after this, so we are urging anyone interested to please reconsider if you have young children, a small breed dog, a geriatric animal, or cats (Koda does not know his size).
We'll also keep you updated on Koda's adoption status with email updates.
