Winter is an endearing, sweet, and energetic 1 year old shepherd mix who has found herself at Friends of Burlington County Animal Shelter, through no fault of her own. Winter is an all-around good dog who loves everyone. She enjoys the company of other dogs and gets along with cats. Like many young shepherd mixes, she has an exuberant enthusiasm for life and loves to move, play, and be part of the action. Winter will thrive in home with a person or family who have lots of love, structure and guidance to give her. I've been in a great loving home since I was a puppy but recently I've decided that my kitty siblings are more fun to harass than be friends with so I'm looking for a home with *no* cats! 2. I'm a very well mannered southern gal. I've had professional training where I learned great leash walking, multiple commands, kennel training - the works! I could use an obedience refresher just to sharpen my skills. 3. Some of my best attributes are I'm affectionate, house/kennel trained, good with kids & dogs, I'm smart, active, love to cuddle. I am a bit hesitant of new sounds but that's no biggie. 4. Now that the weather is warm, I'd love to get outside & be active! I'm talking walks, hikes, pool time, trips to get pup-cups; basically anything as long as I'm with you. 5. I've grown up in a house with a kiddo who is now 7.
