Story
Senshi is a beautiful young solid black,  1-year-old German Shepherd/Lab mix with a big personality packed into a perfectly portable, 45-pound package. This smart, energetic girl is the definition of fun- playful, affectionate, and always ready for her next adventure. With her classic German Shepherd smarts and high food drive, Senshi is eager to learn and loves having a job to do. She is already learning sit, stay, and down, is house-trained, and (tries very hard to) not jump up. She’d thrive with someone who can give her a job to do, whether that's training, hiking, or even dog sports- she’s got the drive and enthusiasm to be an amazing partner. Senshi absolutely loves toys, playtime, and anything involving treats. Whether it’s a game of fetch or exploring the outdoors, she’s happiest when she’s active and engaged. Senshi would do best as the only dog in the home, as she can be a bit possessive with toys around other dogs. She can tolerate cats, though she may be a bit too playful for them at times. Due to her energy level and enthusiasm, she’d be best suited for a home without young children. but over 10 years of age would be find. Her ideal home would be with an active single person or couple who’s looking for a loyal companion to share adventures, hikes, and everyday life with. In return, Senshi will give you endless love, loyalty, and a whole lot of fun. If you’re looking for a smart, energetic best friend who’s always up for an adventure, Senshi might just be your perfect match!   If you are interested, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 13, 2026, 9:51 pm

Story
Calling all Shepherd lovers - we have another beautiful girl wondering where her forever home is!Meet Bailey! This stunning German Shepherd was surrendered to us due to her previous owner moving and being unable to take her along. Bailey has experienced several moves in her young life, and from what we're told, she's more than ready for stability, consistency, and a place to truly call home.Bailey is 2½ years old, a full German Shepherd weighing just over 60 pounds. She's intelligent, loyal, and looking for someone who understands and appreciates the shepherd breed. Bailey would thrive in a home with breed experience - one that's committed to training, structure, and giving her a job or purpose. Like many shepherds, she does best when she has something to focus on and someone to bond closely with. The shelter transition took Bailey a little longer than most. With all the changes she's been through, that's completely understandable. She's becoming calmer and more comfortable each day, but we truly believe her full personality will shine once she's back in a stable home environment. At this time, Bailey has not yet been tested with other dogs or cats, but we plan to do so soon. She is up to date on all vaccines and will be scheduled for spay.Bailey is ready to settle down for good - no more moving, no more uncertainty. Just loyalty, love, and a fresh start with her forever family.So... where are all our Shepherd lovers? Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 58 Age: 2yrs 7mths 3wks

Please contact Marilyn at 856-275-6905 for more information about this pet.  This dog is located in Newark, DE. Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application/ to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 856-275-6905 (call or text) or via email at Fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permanent homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here, you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. April 13, 2026, 9:30 pm

Story
🐾 Meet Emma – Your Future Best Friend! 🐾 Emma is a 3-month-old female German Shepherd (best guess) with all the intelligence, curiosity, and playful spirit you would expect from this amazing breed. She is already off to a fantastic start and is ready to find a home that will continue guiding her into the incredible dog she is meant to be. Emma is doing wonderfully with potty training and has had no accidents since her first week in her foster home. She is also doing great with crate training, sleeping comfortably in her crate at night and relaxing there when her foster family is away. She gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home and enjoys their company. Emma is also great with the grandkids who visit frequently, though like most puppies, she is still learning her manners. She can be a little jumpy and mouthy during play, but this is all very typical puppy behavior and something she will grow out of with consistent training. There is also a resident cat in the home who tolerates Emma just fine. Emma is learning boundaries and has already discovered that getting too close might earn her a quick correction from the cat. Emma will need a breed-knowledgeable home that understands the needs of a German Shepherd-type dog and is committed to continuing her training, structure, and socialization. She is not a good fit for apartment living and will need a home with space to run, play, and thrive. Emma is very smart, catches on to training quickly, and is a bit vocal, which is typical for a young shepherd learning to express herself. Emma is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines and preventions. If you are looking for a smart, loyal, and fun-loving puppy to grow with your family, Emma might be your perfect match. 🐶💛 $250 Local Adoption Fee (in Texas) $550 Out of State Adoption Fee (includes transport to your area)
