Story
Dior Hamilton - Yes he has a middle name, is a sweet and loving boy. He was adopted about 5 years ago from another shelter. Because of this, Dior comes with a previous abusive history we do not fully understand. However, despite his past trauma, Dior is a very loving dog and takes some time to warm up to strangers. Dior needs someone who is familiar with this breed and has patience to understand his nervousness and anxiety alongside strangers (humans and animals alike) Dior is also very protective, he loves my daughter who is 11. Dior walks on a leash but is also used to having a large yard and lots of free space to do as he pleases. He can be very stubborn, much like a teenage boy!! He has a love-hate relationship with being brushed which we think has a lot to do with his past abuse. This causes some challenges with grooming as GSD need to be brushed. He gets along really well with our cat, and other dogs, and even our goat. But does not do well with chickens or ducks.

Story
IDGSR Welcomes SMOKY into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hiya Friends! My name is Smoky and I'm a beautiful 6-month old female German Shepherd. I am located in Greeneville TN and will be available for transport. Quick Facts Age: 6-months old Kids: will do fine with kids Dogs: good with other dogs Cats: NO cats Training: needs full obedience training 1. In my short 6-months of life, it's been pretty rough. I've lived my life on a chain with little to no interaction. I'm a bit behind socially & mentally but now that I'm in the best rescue, I'm catching up! 2. I'm fully vetted and ready to find a loving home that I desperately deserve. I want a person/family to take me on walks, play with me, give me treats, and cuddle! 3. As you can see in my video, I LOVE water! I hope you'll get me a kiddie pool or take me swimming, water is so much fun! 4. I get along with other large doggos and would like a nice friendly boy dog to play with. Having zoomies in the yard & playing tag is one of the best games. 5. Like all young pups, I need full obedience training to make sure I'm the bestest girl. If you'll paw-promise to train me, I'll paw-promise to be your most loyal companion. 6. If you are looking for a beautiful, resilient, smart, funny, energetic, and playful new pup - I'm your girl! **SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY! Good with dogs,
Story
A calm, loyal gentle giant with a soft spot for his people (especially the ladies). Dobby is a 4-year-old, 100-lb sweetheart who brings a mellow, easygoing energy to the home. He’s a happy, curious boy with just the right touch of silliness — the kind of dog who is content to relax nearby but still enjoys getting out for his daily walks. He’s especially fond of women and bonds deeply with his people. Dobby is not high energy and prefers a calm, low-conflict environment where he can feel secure and understood. Dobby is intelligent and trainable, but he will benefit from continued leash work, as he does have a high prey drive for squirrels. He is not food motivated and is currently on a raw diet. He can do well in an apartment for up to 6 hours at a time, as long as he gets several walks each day. Dobby would do best with older children or a shepherd-savvy home that understands his size and thoughtful nature. If you’re looking for a loyal, steady companion who will quietly stick by your side, Dobby is your guy. Quick facts: • 4 years old • 100 lbs • Calm, affectionate, and loyal • Loves women • Not high energy • Needs leash work • High prey drive (squirrels) • Not food motivated; on raw diet • Apartment-friendly (with regular walks) • Best with older kids or experienced home Dobby doesn’t need a busy home — just a kind one where he can relax, bond, and be loved. He is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. The adoption fee for this dog is $425 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and the general appearance of the animal at the time they enter our system. Story
Stella is a beautiful 4-year-old, 65 pound, white German Shepherd (born on Christmas Day) with a big, goofy personality and an even bigger heart. She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and very people-oriented. She loves being close to her people, is the best snuggler, and does amazing with adults and kids of all ages. Stella is a high-energy girl who thrives with activity. She loves walks, running, playing in water, and being outside. She would do best with an active home that can give her the exercise and structure she needs. She is well-trained and knows commands like place, sit, and wait. She is kennel trained, leash trained, e-collar trained, and house trained. She rides well in the car and settles nicely in the home when her exercise needs are met. She does great at the vet and groomer and has never shown food or human aggression. Stella is not generally aggressive and does well around other dogs in controlled settings like walks, the vet, and the groomer. She can also coexist calmly in a home setting much of the time. Her challenge is with high-excitement situations (like toys or sticks), where she can become overstimulated and redirect onto another dog. Unfortunately, she is needing to be rehomed due to repeated fight incidents with another female dog in the home. Because of this, she will need to be the only pet in the home, or with a very experienced handler. Stella’s ideal home:  • Only pet (no dogs or cats) • Secure fenced yard • Active, experienced German Shepherd or working-breed owner • Someone committed to structure, exercise, and consistency Stella is spayed, fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped.
