Please contact Darlene at 302-312-5129 (fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.  This dog is located in Newark, DE. Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application/ to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 302-312-5129 (text or call) or via email at fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permanent homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. August 29, 2026, 6:22 pm

Story
Max is a 7 year old German shepherd utd on shots. House trained, and non destructive. Loves cuddles and thinks he is a lap dog. Pulls a little on the leash and will bark at other dogs but won't attack. We have an infant in the house now and he does not realize how big he is, making it difficult teaching the baby how to crawl. So if you can provide Max a forever loving home. Please contact Lisa at (xxx) xxx-xxxx . Thank you

IDGSR Welcomes CODY into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hiya Friends! My name is Cody and I'm a handsome 1yr old male German Shepherd. I am located near Nashville TN and will be available for transport. Quick Facts Age: 1yr old Kids: would do fine with older kids (12+) Dogs: good with large dogs Cats: NO cats Training: needs full obedience training 1. My dog-mama (Bella) and I were left in an abandoned hotel all alone. I tried to take care of our little family best I could. Thankfully a nice person found us and eventually got us into the best rescue! 2. I'm a good boy with so much love to give. In my short life, people haven't been very kind to me so it takes me a little bit to warm up but I promise I will! 3. I'm working on house and crate training. Please be patient with me as I learn. Will you paw-promise to train me in obedience too? I'm super smart & eager to please. 4. I get along great with other large dogs and would love to have a nice female doggo in my forever home. It will help build my confidence too. 5. I dream of having a dog bed of my own, a family to love me, to go on walks, get pup-cups, snuggle on the couch, and share in all of life's special moments. 6.
