Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Kya is the right dog in the wrong home...she is a young, energetic, happy, sweet and affectionate GSD who needs a home with a family or person who have the time to spend with her playing, running around, training and just living life's adventures and joys. She loves her walks and running laps in the yard. She would really be happy with someone who works from home. Kya is very smart and learns quickly.  She already knows SIT, WAIT, HEAL, COME, DOWN, LEAVE IT, DROP IT, BREAK and BACK. Kya has a lot of puppy energy and can be mouthy, so a home with older children and no one elderly is recommended. She has not lived with dogs but gets along with them.  When she is on her walks, she greets them and plays. Kya enjoys playing fetch, search, crate games and doing obedience. She loved and excelled at an agility class. Her favorite toys are a double handled ball, frisbees, stuffed squeaky toys and a latex pig. She also enjoys frozen greek yogurt stuffed bones, pup cups and eating her kibble from a silicone treat ball.' Kya will thrive with an active person or family who enjoys spending time outdoors and can provide consistent training and playtime. If you’re looking for a bright, affectionate, high-energy pup who’s eager to learn and ready to love, Kya is your girl. Story
Like her name, Opal is a gem: she is smart, loving and eager to please. Weighing in at just under 30 pounds, this three-year-old has lots of youthful energy and enjoys doing zoomies and chasing toys (balls, Kong toys and frisbees). She doesn’t fully have the “return the toy” concept of the game of Fetch, but she’s working on it. She is motivated both by treats and by praise, and quick to pick up on what is expected, so she will be easy to train. Some dog-savvy neighbors of the foster pointed out that Opal seems to enjoy training sessions and would probably do well in agility training. The animal shelter she came from said that she did well in doggie play groups, but PAW has not yet tested her with other dogs. She seems to be OK with older children (9 or older), but her habit of jumping would at this point not make her the best choice for young children. On the other hand, she seems to be extremely trainable and is already making progress on the jumping behavior. When not prancing around with a toy in her mouth, Opal is a world-class cuddler and will happily join you on the couch.  PAW adopts in the MD, VA, DC and northern PA region. ##2620613##

Story
Handsome Zulu is a German Shepherd mix, who may have Husky in him, though we aren't sure.  We think he is about 1 1/2 years old.  He is friendly, happy, and energetic.  He's very smart too, knowing how to sit, lie down, and shake.  He plays well with female dogs, and he's housebroken!  Zulu is a super nice boy who will make a great pet for some lucky family! Please note:  You must live within a 175-mile radius of our facility to be considered for adoption.
