Story
Chase was first welcomed into the MAGSR family many years ago. With his impressive personality and sweet soul, it didn’t take long for him to find a wonderful home, where he spent several happy years as a beloved family member. Unfortunately, as life sometimes changes despite everyone’s best efforts, Chase found himself needing MAGSR once again. Chase grew up with two children, lived peacefully with the family cat, and had interactions with other dogs. When a new family member arrived, a serious medical condition developed that resulted in a severe allergy to Chase. His family did everything they could to manage the situation, but when it became clear that things would not improve, they made the incredibly difficult and selfless decision to return Chase to MAGSR so he could find a new home. At MAGSR, we protect our own. When Chase needed help, we ensured he had a safe and loving foster home where he could settle in comfortably while beginning the search for his next forever family. Chase is a sweet, loving, and deeply devoted senior boy. He loves wholeheartedly and comes with a solid foundation thanks to years spent in a stable, nurturing home. He understands household routines, is housebroken, and is crate trained. As with any dog transitioning into a new environment, Chase will need a bit of time to adjust to the routines and expectations of his future family. A fan of the great outdoors, Chase enjoys daily opportunities to stretch his legs, soak up the sunshine, and simply enjoy life. He hopes his forever family shares his appreciation for fresh air and adventures. With his gentle spirit and steady presence, Chase makes an ideal companion. He is loyal, patient, and constant—exactly the kind of dog who quietly fills a home with comfort and love. Now in his golden years, Chase is looking for a family who will welcome him with open arms and cherish him for the rest of his life. If this special senior sweetheart sounds like the perfect match for your family, ask to meet Chase today. January 5, 2026, 5:53 pm

Story
Meet gorgeous Glacier from the Winter Litter! This adorable baby girl is ready to find her match. The **Winter Litter—Tundra, Glacier, and Frosty—**joined the MAGSR family a few weeks ago after being rescued from a local cruelty and neglect situation. An advocate reached out to local law enforcement after discovering these puppies were living in conditions that were simply unimaginable. When they arrived, all three were severely emaciated, full of worms, missing patches of fur, and understandably unsure of new people. They urgently needed rescue placement to begin their journey toward safety and healing. Thanks to our incredible foster families, prescribed medications, structured feeding schedules, and strong veterinary support, all three puppies were welcomed into the safety of the MAGSR family. Glacier is a delightful, playful, and smart young pup who thrives when both her mind and body are exercised on a daily basis. Like many puppies who lacked early structure, Glacier has benefited greatly from an experienced foster home that has begun teaching her the ins and outs of living in a loving home environment. Crate training and housebreaking were first on the list, and Glacier has been doing a wonderful job learning these important skills. Living in an established pack has also given Glacier the opportunity to learn appropriate social skills and understand pack structure—an essential foundation for her long-term success. With a strong desire to please her people, Glacier has begun learning basic expectations. Continued training and consistent opportunities to learn will help her grow into a confident, well-rounded canine citizen. While Glacier is undeniably cute, it’s important to remember that puppies are a lot of work. They will whine, chew, have accidents, and fill your home with endless puppy antics. With patience, consistency, and training, Glacier has all the potential to mature into a stable, confident adult dog. If this beautiful girl sounds like the perfect match for your family, ask to meet Glacier today! January 5, 2026, 5:53 pm

Story
Patsy Cline, like far too many dogs, was born without the resources or care she needed to thrive. She spent her puppyhood living outdoors with little consistency, guidance, or attention. As her brothers and sisters were placed into homes, Patsy was left behind. In time, another accidental litter arrived—the Country Puppies: Reba, Lainey, and Shaina. Born into the same circumstances, all four dogs ultimately found themselves in need of help. Recognizing that the puppies deserved a safer, healthier start, their owner made the responsible decision to surrender them to MAGSR. When our team visited the property to meet the Country Puppies, it quickly became clear that Patsy Cline needed help as well. At MAGSR, we don’t leave family behind—so we promised to move Patsy forward alongside her sisters. Patsy is a friendly, social, and affectionate young girl. While she didn’t have the upbringing we would have hoped for, she is clearly made of something special and has done wonderfully with our volunteers. Arriving without prior veterinary care, Patsy has been spending her time getting caught up on all the important medical support she needed. A playful and interactive pup, Patsy enjoys social time and brings plenty of young-dog energy to everything she does. She is still learning the ins and outs of living in a home with structure, routine, and clear expectations, so her forever family should be prepared to give her time to adjust. With patience, consistency, and guidance, Patsy will absolutely thrive. Training will be especially important for Patsy—not only to help her learn good manners, but also to build a strong, healthy bond with her family and develop the skills needed to become a confident, well-rounded canine citizen. Patsy Cline is a young, energetic, and loving girl searching for a forever family who will cherish her for a lifetime. If your family is looking for an absolute sweetheart who would love days filled with adventure and nights spent snuggled close, ask to meet Patsy today! January 5, 2026, 5:53 pm

Story
Meet handsome Tundra, one of the Winter Litter puppies who is seeking his forever family. The Winter Litter—Tundra, Glacier, and Frosty—joined the MAGSR family a few weeks ago after being rescued from a local cruelty and neglect situation. Thanks to our incredible foster families, medications, structured feeding schedules, and strong veterinary support, all three puppies were welcomed into the safety of the MAGSR family. Tundra is an adventurous, intelligent, and motivated young pup who thrives when both his mind and body are engaged. Like many puppies who lacked early structure, Tundra needed extra support to learn the basics of being a well-mannered boy. Our team quickly stepped in to meet those needs by providing a predictable environment with clear rules, boundaries, and expectations. With his strong desire to please and excellent food motivation, Tundra has taken enthusiastically to training. He is learning leash manners and basic commands and truly enjoys working with his people. He’s developing the skills he’ll need to become a confident, well-rounded canine citizen. While Tundra is undeniably adorable, it’s important to remember that puppies are a lot of work. They will whine, chew, have accidents, and fill your home with endless puppy antics. Story
Xena was recently returned to the MAGSR family after spending several years in a loving home since she was a puppy. While this was not the outcome anyone hoped for, sometimes life circumstances change in ways that are beyond a family’s control. Xena was deeply loved, and her family knew that she deserved the opportunity for a fresh start—one MAGSR promised to provide. We welcomed Xena back with open arms and committed to finding her an incredible match as she moves forward into her next chapter. Xena is an active, intelligent, and impressive girl who thrives when she has a job or a purpose. She is highly motivated to learn, eager to engage, and has a strong foundation that sets her up for success. Always happy to try new things, Xena needs regular mental and physical stimulation to stay balanced and fulfilled. She is not a couch potato and is looking for an active family that will challenge both her body and her mind on a daily basis. This structure not only helps her continue building skills but also supports her confident, stable personality. Having lived in a home for several years, Xena understands many of the ins and outs of household living. She is crate trained, housebroken, and familiar with household expectations. As with any dog transitioning into a new environment, Xena will need time to adjust to the routines and rules of her forever family. True to her breed, Xena does take her role as a guardian seriously and can be protective of her home and property. Her forever family should be prepared to understand and implement best practices that help keep Xena feeling secure, supported, and successful. At the end of an active day, Xena is more than happy to relax with her people. She is affectionate, enjoys closeness, and loves settling in for the evening with those she trusts. If your family is looking for an outgoing, intelligent, adventurous companion who is ready to form a deep bond and thrive with the right guidance, Xena would love to meet you and find a family of her very own January 5, 2026, 5:53 pm
