Story
This is Moose (Bubba) 💙 He's 11 months to 1 year old 💙 Good with other dogs 💙 Good with people of all ages 💙 He was an outside dog and then placed with someone temporarily 💙 Assuming he's a German Shepherd/Husky mix Moose is a good boy. He is in need of a patient home where he can get lots of exercise and people that will work with him on learning things like commands. A big yard is preferable. He is sassy and likes to talk. He loves to play and chew, so he needs lots of strong toys. He can and will jump a small fence. The temporary placement cannot keep him anymore and he needs a permanent home. He doesn't have any papers or any known vetting.

Story
Foster location: Ovid Michigan Meet Prada! Prada is a gorgeous 5 month old German Shepherd mix puppy. She is a very social girl who loves playing with her foster siblings and running with them in the yard, going for walks and meeting new people, and then cuddling up on the couch at night with her foster mom. Prada is house and crate trained, and she walks great on a leash. She would enjoy an active home with another young playful dog. We are unsure if she has lived with kids before but would likely do well, kids 8 and older would be best. Prada has started working on basic obedience training and her ideal family is one that is willing to continue her training so she can be the best dog she can be! Prada’s adoption fee is $400, she is current on vaccines, microchipped, fecal negative, and current on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. A $150 spay deposit will be collected at the time of adoption and refunded once proof of spay is received within 6 months of adoption. Please follow the instructions to apply for Prada found in the auto-reply you will receive or email adoptapupanimalrescue@gmail.com for an application. Adopt A Pup is 100% foster-based which means we do not have a centralized facility where you can visit our dogs. The first step towards meeting the dog(s) you are interested is to complete an application. One of our volunteers will contact your references and set up a time between you and the foster to meet and interact with the dog(s) of interest.

Story
Meet Brynn! LOVES OTHER DOGS! WOULD MAKE AN EXCELLENT FUR SIBLING FOR YOUR PUP!!! Our beautiful Brynn is a two-year-old shepherd mix who is ready to race her way into your heart. All 45 pounds of her is eager to be your new best friend! Brynn had a few days away from the kennel for a nice straycation and we learned so much about her! Not only is she house-trained and crate-trained, she likes other pups! Brynn is a lively gal and would do great with another fun-loving pup as a sibling. She's also respectful of other dogs when they aren't interested in playing. After she's done with her cardio, she doesn't hesitate to lean in and and ask for some ear rubs. At the end of the day, she slept quietly through the night. Brynn knows "sit" and is capable of learning even more. She will benefit from continued training and we know she'll make you proud. She's quite content to keep herself entertained with her bouncy ball. A fan of all treats, Brynn takes her food gently. Her foster family was able to take away food and toys with no issue. Brynn is great on a leash and would love to hit the road with you as she rides well in the car. She also did great getting a bath! If you're looking for a dog that can keep up with you on your adventures, look no further! This girl absolutely loves to run! You can see the sheer joy on her face as she zooms around the yard. A yard of her own is a must for this fast-paced pup! She also loves the water and takes a dip in the kiddie pool at the kennel whenever she can! Brynn will need a family that will be devoted to keeping her exercised and engaged. Based on our evaluation, Brynn would do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages 8 and up. She may have the potential to live with other animals and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby. If you think this dynamic girl is the pup for you, visit greatlakesdogrescue.com today and fill out an application for our bubbly Brynn!

Story
My wife and I were gifted Nala for our wedding and she has been a wonderful dog for the past 6 years. As our family is grown, it's been difficult to get Nala the exercise and attention that German shepherds need so after a lot of consideration, we decided it would be best to find her a new home. She is loving and playful and very gentle with kids.
