Story
Stella is a young girl fresh out of puppy stage, smart, athletic, and goofy. She is crate trained and some obedience trained. I have come to realization I work to much and am not giving her the best life possible. Shes a beautiful girl who is naturally guarding of the house of strangers but extremely dog friendly. She might do extremely well in a multiple dog home. She’s very docile and doesn’t care about being dominant or not. I do also have three cats that she’s okay with but doesn’t always respect their boundaries but has never hurt any small animal or my small child. She doesn’t love care rides and gets motion sickness. I am asking a rehoming fee just to make sure she’s appropriately cared for by her new family. I’ll also add more pictures down the road.

Story
HELLOOOO! My name is Mavis! I am a beautiful German Shepherd mix with the softest fur imaginable. I am a little over 2 years of age but I have so much life to live and love to give.I absolutely love exercise and I would do best with humans that love a lot of physical activity. I very much enjoy walks and running and lots of fetch during playtime. I am still young and full of energy so exercise can definitely help me focus better.I am working on not being so jumpy when greeting people and will do great with a little extra training once I find my forever home. I know how to sit very well and I even learned how to lay down this week. My human friends here are helping me use `sit` for please to get extra practice on my manners.I am agile and can jump super high, so a high fence around my yard is a great idea.I will be great with children over 10 years of age with adult supervision and a good introduction period to make sure we create a strong bond. I`m up to date on my vaccines, I will just need to see my new veterinarian within 2 weeks of my adoption to ensure that I stay healthy and keep on a regular vaccination schedule. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. Story
Meet Dorian, the majestic German Shepherd with a heart as big as his fluffy coat! At just 1 year old, Dorian is already a big boy, tipping the scales at 87 lbs. With his striking appearance and boundless energy, Dorian is sure to capture the hearts of all who meet him.Dorian is a bundle of energy and enthusiasm, always ready for the next adventure. He`s a big fan of toys and loves nothing more than a good game of fetch. With his playful nature and outgoing personality, Dorian is sure to keep you entertained for hours on end. However, Dorian is still a young pup and will benefit from basic obedience training to help him channel his energy in a positive way.Dorian would thrive in a home with experienced owners who understand the needs of his breed. A fenced yard would be ideal for Dorian to burn off his excess energy and indulge in his favorite pastimes. Due to his size and exuberance, we recommend a home with children 12 and up. Additionally, Dorian`s big, fluffy coat will require regular brushing to keep him looking and feeling his best.Dorian is a big boy with a lot of energy, so he`ll need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to keep him happy and healthy.Basic obedience training will help Dorian learn good manners and become a well-behaved companion.Dorian`s large size and tendency to jump mean he`ll need supervision around smaller children. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. To help speed up the application process, it is recommended that you complete the online application form found at the link below.I will be out of the shelter from Monday February 12th until Tuesday, February 20th. https://animalcontrol.macombgov.org/AnimalControl-AdoptionApplicationMy adoption fee is being SPONSORED BY MACOMB COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL!

Story
Gracie is a sweet girl. She loves to play with her Rottweiler house mate. She loves being outside and playing fetch. She is a bit apprehensive at first when meeting someone new. She will bark a little, But after a few minutes, she warms up and is comfortable with them soon after. We are working on leash training with her harness on. She is crate trained and sleeps there at night and when we are away from home. She rings a bell on the back door to go outside.

Story
Hi! This is Gracie! She is a very sweet girl. Even though she is cautious at first and will bark, it doesn’t take long for her to open up and get comfortable with people.. She loves to run and enjoys tug of war. She plays great with dogs her size or larger. She is kennel trained and knows simple commands such as sit and shake. We lovingly call her floppy because she will flop on you and take naps.
