Diane has a sponsored adoption fee! Meet Diane, the affectionate and playful pup who's sure to make you laugh! This smart girl is a fast learner and keeps her living space tidy (a rare find!). She loves nothing more than a good car ride, fun sniff walks, and interesting enrichment activities to keep her mind busy. Diane is a real social butterfly and enjoys the company of other dogs, especially those that can keep up with her playful roughhousing! She's a true love bug, always ready to give kisses and cuddles, and will be a loyal and funny companion. Diane is best suited for a home with older children, as she loves the calm energy and can give her full attention to her humans. She is a Shepherd mix that is approximately 3 1/2 years old, spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and on monthly prevention. We are unsure about cats at this time. Story
Zion’s journey is nothing short of miraculous. Found abandoned with his sister on the streets of Lapeer County, both were labeled feral, anxious, and aggressive after being brought into animal control. Sadly, his sister didn’t make it - but Zion’s story took a different turn. Terrified and misunderstood, Zion spent three months deteriorating in the shelter, biting out of fear and only trusting one volunteer. Just when it seemed like his time was up, a compassionate shelter worker reached out to our training program for a last-chance intervention. We met Zion, saw the spark behind his fear, and knew he deserved a shot. Shortly after his rescue, Zion began panting excessively - and we discovered a horrifying surprise: a 4-inch spinner hook lodged deep in his tongue and throat. Emergency surgery saved his life, and with it, his future. Since then, Zion has undergone full vetting and has blossomed under our care. Now, this stunning young German Shepherd (estimated 1.5-2 years old) is thriving in training and preparing for his forever home. Zion is a high-energy, high-drive boy who will do best with an experienced handler familiar with working breeds. He’s incredibly loving, protective, and dog-friendly - he adores romping around with canine pals and is always up for a game of chase. Zion’s silly side shines through in his signature “teethy kisses” - a gentle, goofy gesture where he places his teeth on your cheek or head to show affection. He’s loyal, playful, and ready to bond deeply with the right person. If you’re looking for a devoted companion with a resilient spirit and a whole lot of love to give, Zion might be your perfect match! Adoption Fee: $250 Up to date on vaccinations Dog-friendly! Story
Dorothy is a sweet loving little dog. She loves every person she meets, young, old, male or female, they are all friends. She is also great with all the dogs she meets. Dorothy will give a small growl if another dog is pushing her too far, but as long as the humans step in and make the other dog give her a break she will settle and not take it any farther. She is a lover, not a fighter. Dorothy would love a home with a doggie friend as well as a family that enjoys cuddling with her. Story
Hi, I’m Amelia — checking in from Oregon!  I’m a 7-month-old spayed female Shepinois and I’m officially on the hunt for my forever home. Could it be you?  I can be a little shy when meeting new people at first, but don’t worry — I warm up quickly once I know you’re kind. I’m still learning how the world works and do best with slow, thoughtful introductions to new things. Once I feel safe, my true personality shines through… and spoiler alert: I’m a total love bug.   A Few Things to Know About Me:  Crate trained (I know what “bed” means!) Potty trained — pretty impressive, right? Medium-to-high drive and eager to learn Excellent off switch — couch snuggles are my specialty I love having a furry sibling to play with. One of my favorite games is stealing balls and running away with them — it’s all in good fun!  I’d be happiest in a home that can give me both the physical and mental stimulation I need, and then curl up with me afterward for some quality snuggle time. Car rides are still a little scary for me, but I’m gaining confidence every day and I know I’ll get the hang of them soon. I haven’t met cats or small children yet, so I’m not sure how I feel about them — slow introductions would be best there, too. I think I sound pretty fantastic… don’t you?  If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, cuddly girl to grow with, learn with, and love forever — I might just be your perfect match.  Will you be my forever home?  All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and 6 month subscription.  If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application at this link  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic.  *********************************************************************** We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Story
Meet Sammy — the calm, loyal Malinois with the softest heart.  At 5 years old and 75 lbs, Sammy is the rare Malinois who truly has an off switch. He’s just as content curled up at your feet while you work from home as he is sprinting after his beloved ball or joining you on a weekend adventure. Playful when invited, peaceful when resting — Sammy is the definition of adaptable.  House Manners That Shine Sammy is fully house trained and crate trained, and quite literally one of the easiest fosters we’ve ever had. Day one in the crate? No whining, no barking. In the kitchen? He quietly lays down like a polite sous chef. Around the house? He follows his people gently, wanting to belong without demanding constant attention. He settles beautifully on his own, rides well in the car, and has a wonderful ability to match the energy of the room.  Dog & People Socialization With other dogs, Sammy is neutral, polite, and naturally submissive. He warms up slowly, then engages comfortably and appropriately. With people, his story is more tender. Sammy came from an abusive past, so he needs slow, patient introductions with new faces. Once he trusts you, though? You become his person, and he loves with his whole heart.  Training Sammy is learning quickly and already responds to: sit down paw kennel drop recall On leash he can pull a bit on a flat collar but is improving. His biggest training focus: excited greeting jumps toward his favorite person — something he’s actively working on.  Why Sammy Is So Special Fantastic house manners True “off switch” uncommon for the breed Loves fetch — ball = instant confidence boost Great solo settler Excellent in the car (crated or free) Gentle snuggler and world-class napper  Ideal Home Sammy will thrive in a calm adult home or one with older dog-savvy teens. While he does well with our toddler under close supervision, we do not recommend homes with very young or busy children, Sammy needs careful introductions and loves his "own" space. He needs a family committed to patience, structure, and trust-building. And in return? You get a once-in-a-lifetime dog — loyal, soft, steady, and devoted.  From heartbreak to love....  Sammy was once tied to a tree and abandoned… yet he still chooses love. Every day. He’s not just looking for a home —He’s looking for his person. Will you be his person? Let us know!  All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and 6 month subscription.  If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application at this link  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic.  *********************************************************************** We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location.
