Hi I'm Fenton! I am a young shepherd mix and I'm searching for my forever home. I absolutely love playing with toys and I have endless energy! I would love to have a person to take me hiking or train me in some kind of dog sport. I have been working with the trainer on basic obedience and doing very well! My caregivers think I would excel in a sport or by having a "job" as I am very driven, food motivated and eager to please. My brothers Fritz and Farley are also at the rescue and we are all very similar! I am neutered and up to date on vaccines and dewormings. I will be microchipped at adoption.

While we don’t know much about his past, we’ve loved getting to know this sweet pup here at the shelter. Sammy is an affectionate boy who lives for your attention! He’s very food-motivated treats are his love language! He’s working on his leash-walking skills and doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs at the shelter. Sammy full of potential all he needs now is a loving home to help him learn and grow. Sammy did great for his exam where he weighed in at 42 lbs. and was also given Bordetella, parvo/lepto/distemper vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and is heartworm negative. Our adoptions are $100 cash/local check. Our visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. We are located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331. You can reach us at 937-547-1645

I have had him about 2 weeks and he is a really sweet boy. This is the first time I have ever had to re-home but he keeps starting fights with my other male shepherd.These are not little tiffs. HOWEVER, he gets along fine with my female dogs and my kid. He is very sweet, loves to cuddle, play fetch go on walks, sleep in bed. He's a huge cuddle bug. He's very smart and food motivated. If you're looking for an outdoors buddy I could see that for him. Beyond this issues, he is UTD on all shots, he needs his teeth brushed to care for tartar neglect. He is super laid back and likes to play fetch. He is a big softy and he deserves so much. If you have a home that suits his needs please reach out.
