I am 2 years old, weigh around 60 pounds, and am German Shepherd mix. Here is what my foster mama says:Hank is very loving and quick learner, especially when treats are involved! Hank totally enjoys greeting people when we have guests to our home and is well-behaved with new people. During the solar eclipse, Hank was outside on his leash on and when all the neighbors were cheering during totality, Hank sat quietly with me rubbing his belly. Such a good boy!!!If fact, Hank has recently learned to respond to 'Where's my Good Boy? He comes, flops down, and rolls over to get belly rubs!!! We also use this to distract him from any undesirable behavior and it quickly calms him down. I adopted Shay from Greene County Animal Control in Xenia, OH 2 years ago. She is between 4 and 5 years old and weighs 51 pounds. I need someone who has the ability and time to do some training with her. She has reactive/aggressive behavior to other dogs. She has never injured other dogs, but definitely shows her dominance. The best situation would be someone who is familiar with this behavior and has the time and energy to train her. She has been an inside dog but does love the outdoors. Her favorite thing is chasing after a ball. She would do this for hours, which is why a fenced yard would be best so that she can run free to catch a ball thrown to her. And, she brings it back to you!
