Story
Meet Bear 🐻💙 At first glance, Bear can look a little intimidating — tall ears, serious face, that classic German Shepherd presence. But give him about 30 seconds and you’ll see the truth: Bear is just a big love wrapped in a “tough guy” package. Bear is 2½ years old and absolutely thrives once he feels safe. He loves affection, leans in for pets, and bonds deeply with his people. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be near you, quietly loyal and incredibly sweet. Bear would do best in a home with a secure privacy fence, where he can feel protected and relaxed while enjoying time outdoors. With the right space and a patient, loving family, Bear will blossom into the devoted companion he’s meant to be. Behind the strong exterior is a dog who just wants a chance — a chance to belong, to be loved, and to finally have a home to call his own. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with a heart as big as his paws, Bear is waiting 🖤🐾

Story
Hi, I'm Omaha from the Indian pups. I am one of the larger pups of the litter. I love to run, play, chew, wrestle, eat and nap.......then REPEAT! I keep on the go - there's just too much to do, learn and check out. I love my siblings - big and small. I'm a pretty smart boy and learn quickly. I am a really sweet boy who would like a family of his own. I'm currently take applications!! I am currently working on crate training, house breaking and some basic commands. I am still pretty young and I am learning about good manners. Please understand that while I am doing well on potty and crate training, I'm still a baby and will have accidents and may whine some as I adjust to my new schedule and family. Story
Hi, my name is Remington - nice to me you! I am listed as "special needs" because my vision is limited due to cataracts. I am not in any pain but I do need steroids - eye drops - the cost is about $12 a month using an online pharmacy. Even though my eyesight is limited, it doesn't slow me down! One of my favorite things to do is to play fetch - we play every night! Check out my video in my bio pics - I think I'm pretty good (as long as the ball isn't thrown too far), don't you? I am a silly girl who just likes to play. I get along really well with people and dogs. One of my favorite things is playing with my foster siblings - even though I will play with everyone, I usually will gravitate towards one pal at a time. I can be a little reserved at first with my humans but once I trust you, I'm very affectionate and like to give hugs! ***Special needs - I need eyedrops for my cataracts*** ADOPTION FEE: $300 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: MUST have breed experience BIRTHDAY: 9/28/22 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes DOGS IN HOME: Yes CATS: Unknown CHILDREN: Yes - 8 years and older I AM READY TO GO HOME!! Story
Enya is a very sweet girl, she will follow you where ever you go from room to room. We don't know her back ground story but it could not have been a nice one. Enya came in thin at 67 pound's and that is putting on some weight since coming into the rescue she is now over 100 pounds. She does have some anxiety being put in a kennel I believe due to separation anxiety she is learning crate manners and doing very well. When left alone she will voice her refusal over it. She wants to see her person be it mom or dad. Enya is house broken and sleeps on the floor on the side of the bed, she will only get up on the bed when invited. When unattended I put her in a kennel and she is stressed when I do that but getting better every day. She would be great if someone that worked from home wanted her. She will curl up on a bed beside your desk. Enya will require a tall fence, like a privacy fence. Enya would do better with dogs medium size or larger. She is too playful with small dogs and shows interest in cats but I have not let her close to them. If you have any questions please contact the rescue.
