Hello, handsome! This big boy came to us as a stray and is approximately 2 years old. He has so much love to give, it’s ridiculous! Why he was abandoned is anyone’s guess, but we’re happy to help him find his forever home. Always ready with a smile (and a body hug if you’re not careful), Starsky is a lover of all humans he meets. He is also wonderful with large breed dogs but has not been tested with small breeds. He is not good with cats and cannot go into a home with indoor or outdoor felines. Given his mixed breed, Starsky both bonds quickly (the Shepherd in him) and is an escape artist (the Husky). Leaving him unattended in a yard is not advisable, as he will get bored and climb or dig his way out of it. This boy wants to be a part of the family, not left alone. With loads of attention and exercise, he won’t get bored. Starsky travels very well in the car - always ready for an adventure! He is good on leash but requires reminders against his tugging tendencies. He loves belly rubs and would be a lap dog if you let him. He is crate trained and is not an incessant barker. Starsky is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and on regular flea & heartworm prevention. An adoption fee applies to all of our rescues so that we can continue to help others in need.

He and his sister, Demi, were found on the side of the road in a backpack, but Drew has truly come into his own while in foster care.According to his foster mom, Drew is an affectionate and loving little boy. He did well with the cats in his foster home but may need a slow introduction to new feline friends. Drew LOVES stuffed animals, especially those with squeaky toys, and enjoys chewing on Nylabones and ice cubes to help with his teething.A big fan of playing "catch me if you can," Drew can sniff out a treat from a mile away. He's a little cuddle bug who enjoys being held for a bit before heading off to find his next adventure. Meet Brisket! He's a pretty good dog friend. I rescued Brisket last summer. He is 3 years old. He's a pretty good boy, loves long walks and playing with his pig toys. (He's got 3 of different sizes and sounds) Very social with dogs and people. He's solid at basic commands- sit, come, leave it. He's pretty quiet and rarely barks unless he needs to go out and I am not paying attention. He is housetrained and crate trained, and does well at night. Really very gentle and loving. He would do well with someone active, or with multiple people. He loves attention, and good belly rubs. He enjoys grooming, and loves brush time. Looking to re-home because of a new job requiring lots of travel and no one else to care for him. Not fair to board him 2-3 weeks a month. Open to covering food costs for 6 months, and will provide crate/bed, toys and treats as well! Additionally 6 months of Flea/tick/HW medication.

This stunning boy is Micah! Some of you may remember him? He’s been through the ringer but he is on the other side of it now and is doing FABULOUS! He’s a 60 pound, 4.5 year old GSD. Micah was found on a median with several injuries and riddled with infections. He has seen a specialist, completed basic vetting and a tail amputation for a broken tail. Micah is a special breed of GSD. He is a working dog that will require enrichment and activities in order to be happy in his environment. He loves other dogs and exercise. We have a trainer ready to work with an adopter so that he is adopted out with appropriate tools for success in a home. Micah is crate and house trained. No toddlers please. I am crate trained, but I do prefer to cuddle with you in bed and on the couch. I'm getting better every day with my potty training. I love to play with other dogs.
