Story
German Shepherd lovers, meet Jaeger! Loyal, energetic, and playful, Jaeger's personality is true to his breed. This handsome boy is house trained and does well in his crate when home alone. He loves to hang out with his family, has great leash manners, and knows several commands. Jaeger has a commanding bark, but under that tough exterior is a sensitive, lovable boy who is often shy when first meeting new people. Once he warms up, he enjoys human affection. He's good with female dogs when properly introduced, but because of his stature and strong personality, he doesn't do well with small children, cats, small dogs or male dogs. Jaeger would do best in a home with structure, patience, and love to give him the environment he should have received as a puppy. An ideal home would have experience handling his breed. Jaeger is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations and heartworm negative. Story
Meet Ember, a stunning brindle beauty! This lively and affectionate German Shepherd/Plott Hound mix at a little over 3 1/2 years old and weighs just about 75 pounds. Ember is a sweet and playful companion who loves cuddles, belly rubs, walks, and being brushed. She's quite the communicator and will let you know what she's thinking! She might give a little whine when she's ready for a walk or a playful bark when she wants to play. Ember can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly with a gentle approach and some tasty treats. Once she knows you, she's a loyal and devoted companion. She enjoys playing fetch and tug-of-war and has a moderate energy level. She loves her walks and playtime, but she's also happy to relax on the couch with her family. Ember is house and crate trained and knows several basic commands. She gets along well with other dogs after a proper introduction. Ember is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccinations. If you're interested in adopting this beautiful girl, please apply at www.hhfrescue.org.

I love nothing more than curling up with a chew toy and watching TV with my foster family. I’m smart, affectionate, and I love kids! I sure hope you would like to bring me home and make me a part of the family- apply today!

Story
Hi, I'm Leo! My absolute favorite thing to do is go on a car ride with the windows down - so many smells to smell! I also like to lounge around, gnaw on my yak-cheese, go on walks and mostly just hang out with you. Every now and then, I might take a break to do my neighborhood watch duties; gotta make sure I know everything that's going on outside and make sure nothing nefarious is happening!! My foster mom says I'm a gentle giant -- I love dogs and people of all sizes (my best friends are 5 Dachshunds, a Lab/Newfoundland mix and the 4-year old human who lives next door). I'm very gentle with the little guys, but love a good game of keep-away, playing chase or wrestling with my bigger friends. I prefer to move freely around the house but I will go in my crate if needed. I have some separation anxiety -- I think having another dog to stay at home with me would help a lot, but I am learning to trust that my people will come back home every time. Although I can be a bit stubborn and strong-willed in my older age, I am a pretty quick learner with consistency, patience and positive reinforcement. If you'd like to be my sidekick, get an adoption application in quickly!

Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** The month of November was a lucky time for this pup, hence her name. November was found on the streets and taken in by a kind resident of the area until she arrived in our care. The change in environment left her uncertain and confused, but she’s learning to trust more and more each day. November has the beautiful coat pattern of a German Shepherd and the clever personality to match. She’s quite intelligent and enjoys being challenged with a food wobbler or a snuffle mat full of treats. November would do best with someone patient and understanding of her need for comfort and predictability. Of course, don’t forget to mix in some tricks and games for her as well! Are you willing to help November find the comfort she’s been craving? *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $125 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis. Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!
