Story
Truffle Female German Shorthair Pointer DOB: 11/27/2022Adoption Fee: $200Truffle is a sweet girl that is looking for her forever. This girl is a working girl, she likes to have a job, and does have a high prey drive. She will need lot's of exercise and a big back yard to keep that energy down. She doesn't really care too much for other dogs, though she tolerates them. This girl is more of a all work, no play girl. She does like attention though. Give this girl something to do and she will flourish! She would do great as a hunting dog, or any other type of activities like going to the lake, running, jogging, etc. She would do well with someone who is active and can keep up with her. She'd need someone who is experienced. If you think truffle would be the girl for you, please come by and meet her. You can put in an application, do a meet and greet, and she can be all yours! Please read the animal bios completely before requesting additional information as we do our best to answer the most frequently ask questions in these bios. In order to adopt one of our animals an application must be submitted and approved. You can find these applications by going to http://humanemorgan.org/index.php?page=adoption ABOUT ADOPTING FROM THE HSMC: The shelter address is 1170 Fairground Rd. Madison, GA 30650. For more information on any of our pets, please feel free to email us at INFO@HUMANEMORGAN.ORG give us a call at 706-343-9977. All dogs are heartworm negative, current on vaccines/dewormings, and microchipped. All cats are current on vaccines/deworming, and microchipped. We are open 12pm-5pm Sunday-Friday and 10 am-5pm on Saturday, we schedule our last adoption at 4pm everyday to allow our staff enough time to feed and walk dogs. We are an animal shelter and therefore are not able to individually potty train our residents. Many adult dogs do arrive “house broken” however due to animal behavior any change in environment will make an emotional impact on the animals and therefore initiate unwanted behaviors during the acclamation period. Please keep this in mind. Puppies do not have the biological maturity to maintain absolute bladder or bowel control and will require a certain degree of potty training and house breaking. Please consider the time and commitment it takes to provide the necessary building blocks for these special babies, prior to submitting your application. If you have any questions please email us at info@humanemorgan.org and provide name of the animal you are interested in, in the subject line. Thank you, HSMC Staff ADOPTION FEES Adoption Fees may change without notice. Story
This is Willow. She is a loving and sweet girl; all she wants is love and attention. She is a huge cuddle bug and will follow your every step. She is extremely energetic and loves to play fetch with a ball. She has been crated before but she chews her way out. I am looking for a home with more animals, land, or someone that has the time and attention for her. My heart is extremely broken to have to let her go, but I want to give her a better life than what I can provide her. I am also moving and will be downsizing. I have a full time job and I just want her days to be surrounded with interaction and love and not by herself.
