Story
Glenn coco has been with me since he was 3 months old. He came home from a litter of puppies in Oklahoma in August of 2018. Since I brought him home, we’ve hiked Sweet water creek, been to plenty of doggy parks, socialized with other dogs and gone to doggy festivals together. Glenn is energetic, playful, intelligent, protective, listens and follows directions, territorial of his guardian, is alert, and makes an amazing guard dog for the house. Glenn is my best friend, but my circumstances don’t allow me to keep him anymore. His ideal home should have a lot of active play time, a yard, or out in the country, he’s a great companion and loves to have fun. Glenn will be 6 this year, he’s house trained, shots are up to date, micro chipped, neutered, he’s a a mix breed GSP/Boxer

Meet Maizie, a young, sweet soul who's made her home at the shelter. Her gentle nature is endearing to everyone she meets. Though she may be a little shy at first, her friendly demeanor quickly shines through. She's the type of dog who loves a good cuddle, and her gentle spirit is calming to be around. Story
Meet Liam! He is an energetic, 4 year old Pointer mix who is looking for a forever home. He would make anyone a great hiking or running companion (his foster mom jogs 8 miles a day with him!). Liam is GREAT with kids and cats! However, he is dog selective. He does great in his foster home with her older, laid back dog, but he is not all about that puppy energy. He likes to do his own thing with his family and doesn't want to be bothered with other dogs. He currently shares his home with two blind cats, an older dog, and teenagers and he LOVES all little kids that he meets! If you are interested in adopting Liam, please fill out an application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY-A-1277 **Applications can take anywhere from 5-7 business days to complete. When filling out an application, please check for a confirmation email to be sure that your application went through. We respond by email, so please check your spam and trash folders. If you need to reach us regarding your application, the best way to contact us is through email.** We are located in Fayette County, GA and are a foster based rescue without a shelter building.

Story
Mozzie was adopted as a puppy from us back over the summer. His adopter did not spend much time with him. Their other dog would attack poor Mozzie therefore they decided he had to be returned. He is now enjoying his time here with his kennel mate who he absolutely loves!! He gets the biggest grin on his goofy face when he is being chased by his friend. He still has lots of puppy energy and love. Please consider adopting sweet Mozzie. Please call the shelter at (706) 795-2868 to schedule a meet and greet.Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. Sadie is the sweetest dog in the world! She loves people and responds very well to instructions. She is VERY housetrained, which means she is one of the very first dogs we have to take outside to go potty in the morning, as she holds it in all night.
