Story
Luna is super sweet, energetic, potty trained, crate trained and follows basic commands. She is very affectionate and loves to sleep next to you. She also loves to play fetch with a squeaky ball and toys and play tug of war. She is great with kids and humans across the board as she grew up around littles. Her temperament is calm and very patient with her humans, and energetic when she runs around outdoors. She absolutely loves chasing and treeing squirrels and other wildlife like most German Shorthair Pointers. She is trained to touch bells at the door when she needs to go out. She sometimes has too much energy when meeting new people but calms down quickly. Unfortunately we have to rehome her because she resource guards (food, and her dog bed) and we have other dogs. We are devastated but know this is best. She will need a home where she is an only dog. Having said that, she plays very well with other dogs as long as there is no food involved eg she can go on walks, jogs and dog park

Story
Our loving dog has been a trooper through a big move two years ago but unfortunately we aren’t home enough anymore to give him the time he really needs. We no longer work from home and have kids sports picking up. We would love to find him a home with someone who will be home more and have the space to let him run. Even though he is 8 years old he is still a pup at heart and love to play ball and frisbee.

Story
Reese is a beautiful 5year old girl. We got her from a shelter in Brandon, Mississippi. My son is now in college and I recently took a job transfer out of state. My son lives on campus. We love Reese and hate to put her up for adoption but she needs a nice home with a fenced yard. Reese loves to run and play. We are heartbroken but only have a few options.

Story
Earl is a country boy who keeps it cool inside the house and out. He has a great attitude and is always smiling. If you're looking for a dog to cuddle with, Earl's your guy. And if you're looking for a dog to just hang out with, Earl is also your guy - that's right, folks, he's flexible. Earl has lived with older kids before and was a perfect gentleman with them. He has been living with other dogs in the shelter and gets along just fine with them, so we think he would do great with a brother or sister dog - although he wouldn't mind your undivided attention either! He enjoys fetch and playing with rope toys, and loves to go for a run once in a while, but he's happy to relax on the couch with you too. His greatest talent is his sniffer - this boy has a great nose and loves to put it to use! Earl really is the do-it-all dog. Whatever you're looking for, he's sure to have it. So come on down to the shelter and meet him today - he can't wait to get to know ya!

Story
Clyde is a 1 year old, 47 lb mixed breed pup. He sat at animal control for 8 months before he became urgent and on their euthanasia list due to space. Thankfully, one of our fosters was able to step up and take him. Clyde’s foster mom says the following about him: Clyde is a very playful and loving pup who approaches the world with a renewed and excited curiosity. He loves playing with soft squeaky toys, benebones, bully sticks, bento balls, kongs, and rubber trunks with food openings. This sweet little guy is very motivated by treats and praise. Through positive reinforcement training, he's mastered potty training (including on the leash) and jumping in the car. He can sleep through the night for 8.5-9 hours without having to use the restroom. While away, he's done very well remaining gated to half of his space with another dog without barking, destruction, or accidents. He also is very relaxed while his foster parent works from home—mostly napping or chewing on his bully stick until it's time for another walk. Overall, he walks great on a leash—but he sometimes stops to sniff or watch a passing car. This is understandable since he has spent most of his life in a shelter. With time, this behavior should decrease. He has also discovered his voice and can bark when he gets excited, but with continued reinforcement, he can learn to control it. His personality comes out more day by day and he's really embracing his puppyhood. He greatly enjoys his AM and PM "zoomie power hours" after he has his food and enjoys multiple walks per day. He has a lot of energy—so he needs owners who are willing to take him for walks and provide him with proper mental stimulation. We highly recommend that he lives with another dog who can show him the ropes. If he is the only dog in the household, there needs to be a stay-at-home spouse or individual who works from home. He is also cat friendly. To adopt him, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org His adoption fee is $250, which includes his shots up-to-date, microchipping, neuter, heartworm testing, and he had a dental cleaning (his teeth had tarter due to the food at the shelter).
