Story
Come meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Home for the Holidays! Saturday, December 14th, 2024 at Immanual Union Church (693 Jewett Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314) from 11am-3pm.
Meet Glitter! Glitter is a 5-year-old, 40-pound mini Goldendoodle with a heart as golden as her fur. She's the calmest, most easygoing dog you'll ever meet, making her a perfect addition to just about any family. Whether she's lounging quietly by your side or patiently sitting while kids and other dogs buzz around her, Glitter takes it all in stride with her gentle, loving nature.
This sweet girl adores affection, short walks, and cozy naps. She walks calmly at your heel on leash, making strolls with her a breeze. While Glitter is not yet house trained; her easygoing personality makes her a great candidate for training with a patient and loving family.
Glitter is fantastic with kids, including the extra-energetic ones, and gets along beautifully with other dogs. Her calm demeanor makes her an ideal companion for families. Are you ready to give Glitter the loving home she deserves?
Glitter is currently being fostered in Union Township, NJ. Her adoption fee is $600.
Glitter is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
