PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.4/6/25 Still available! Bentley is a pup with a purpose. His wide set eyes may give him a slightly goofy expression, but he knows where he is going and what he is doing when he gets there. He is more likely to go through an obstacle than over or around. He has the caramel coloring of a Yellow Lab, and at about 5 months old is a solid 26lbs. His mom is fairly small (30 pounds, dad unknown). We think Bentley will be medium sized when full grown...40-50 pounds? Purely a guess. • Fully crate trained, sleeping through the night and dry most days while his foster parents are at work.• Doing well w/ house training. • Interested in cats in a playful, not harmful, kind of way. Good with other dogs. • Good w/ kids• Very shy at first with new people but warms up quickly.  Located in New England  To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Message or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. With movie star good looks and a fun personality, she is 25lbs of energy. Nova's motto is, 'When life puts an obstacle (gate) in your way, just go over it!'  She is about 5 months old. Her mom is smallish, about 30 pounds, and looks like a mini Golden Retriever. It is likely that Nova is very mixed with several breeds. Dad is unknown. We expect Nova to be medium sized when full grown...40-50 pounds? Story
Hi, I’m Lilly.I haven’t had the easiest start in life. I came from a place called a puppy mill, when I was about 10 weeks old. Then my new family breed me for puppies, I went from one puppy mill to another... Then one day, just like that, I was dumped and left behind with the only friend I had. My puppies were taken from me, and I didn’t know where I was or what was happening. It was scary.Since coming here, I’m learning that not all people are unkind. I’m still a little unsure around new things and loud noises, but I’m really sweet once I feel safe. I just need a little patience and love, and I promise I’ll blossom into your most loyal friend.I’m about a year and a half old and weigh around 35 pounds. I love to play with other dogs—they help bring me out of my shell—and once I know you, I’m all about the cuddles. I’ll nuzzle right in close and enjoy just being near you.Because I’m still building my confidence, I’m not the best fit for a home with small children right now. But if you have a calm home, a kind heart, and maybe even a friendly dog for me to play with, I’d love the chance to be your girl.I’ve been through a lot, but I still believe there’s something better out there for me. Maybe that’s you. If you are interested in meeting me, please submit an application at the link below and someone will be in contact with you. https://www.adamscountyspca.org/dog-application

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.A NOTE FROM MEEKA'S FOSTER:I have been fostering Meeka for several months. She is adorable and charming. This love bug is eager to find her forever home where she can be the center of attention. Meeka is not just cute, she's incredibly smart, a little bit mischievous, and loves to please her person. She'll snuggle with you, play with her toys, and keep you entertained. Meeka will thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention, which is why she would do best as the only pet in the household. She loves being the star of the show and having all the love and attention to herself. While Meeka is incredibly loving and awesome, she prefers a calm and serene environment, making her not suitable for small children. She craves a peaceful atmosphere where she can relax and enjoy the company of her favorite humans. Meeka is house broken and does fine being left on her own in the house. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a pup who will shower you with love and loyalty, Meeka Is the perfect match for you! Meeka is going to need a home with a 6 ft privacy fence around the yard.  If you are interested in Meeka please fill out an application at: https://reachoutrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4588    Or contact: rorrcanine@gmail.com   *** Click here to sponsor this dog! ***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 5:13 pm
