Meet Moose!
 🐾 Breed: Golden Retriever
 🐾 Age: 1 year old
🐾 Size: 82 lbs (currently)
🐾 Energy Level: Active & Playful
🐾 Good with Kids: Older kids, may be too much for young children
🐾 Good with Other Dogs: Yes, but can be a little too "in your face" for some dogs
🐾 Location: York Haven, PA About Moose:
Meet Moose, the lovable goofball with a heart full of joy! At just one year old, Moose is already full of personality and affection. This active boy loves going on walks, lounging on the couch, playing with his toys (especially balls and chew bones), and sitting on laps. He’s truly a snuggle buddy at heart. While Moose has been through a lot, he’s ready to find a forever home where he can live his best life. Moose was surrendered due to bilateral hip dysplasia, and while his left hip has already been repaired, he will eventually need surgery for his right hip within the next 1-2 years. His weight needs to be carefully managed to help with his hip health, but he’s still an energetic pup who loves to play and explore. What makes Moose special? Moose is a “ladies’ man” who thrives on human companionship and loves being around people and other dogs. He's a little too enthusiastic for small children but would do best in a home with older kids or adults who can keep up with his playful nature. He has a sensitive stomach and skin, so he’s on a special diet and takes a daily probiotic. Moose enjoys toys, and while he takes good care of most, he also has a playful side and may tear up a toy or two—especially when there’s a squeaker involved! He’s very much a "lap dog" and loves being near his humans, whether it's lounging on the couch or going for a walk. Moose is learning leash manners, and while he can be a bit of a puller, he responds well to guidance from his foster family. He’s also a car companion, as long as he’s close to someone he trusts. Moose needs a home where he can get plenty of love, attention, and the care he deserves. He’s looking for a family that understands his medical needs, can help him maintain a healthy weight, and provide lots of fun and affection. If you're looking for a playful, snuggly companion and are willing to work with him on his needs, Moose might be the perfect fit for you! Will you give this big goofball the loving home he’s waiting for? 🐾💛

Story
Meet Daisy!
Breed: Golden Retriever / Irish Setter Mix
Age: 10 Months
Surrendered Due to Allergies Daisy is a playful, energetic young dog looking for a home that can keep up with her lively spirit! At just 10 months old, she’s already packed with personality and has a love for outdoor adventures. She absolutely adores spending time in the yard, and her favorite pastime? Picking up large rocks and carrying them around like precious treasures! Daisy is especially fond of the snow – she’ll put her nose right in it and sniff around. Daisy is already familiar with basic commands like "sit," "paw," and "leave it," but like most puppies, she’s still working on her manners. She can be a little mouthy and tends to jump up, so she’ll need an owner who is committed to consistent training and redirection. Daisy will do better with all adults and children over 14 because of her puppy ways. She's also working on staying calm and not jumping, but she's a quick learner and eager to please! Though she’s still getting to know her foster brothers, Daisy is very social and seems to enjoy the company of other dogs. Since she’s just been spayed, her interactions with other dogs have been limited, but she's slowly being introduced to her foster siblings. She’s still learning leash manners, so she tends to pull, but with consistent training, she will improve. Daisy has a high energy level and a working drive, making her an excellent candidate for agility or other active pursuits. Daisy would thrive in a home where she can get lots of exercise and mental stimulation. Whether it’s hiking, playing fetch, or engaging in agility training, she’s up for any activity that keeps her moving and learning. If you’re looking for a fun, enthusiastic companion who will keep you on your toes and make your heart melt, Daisy might just be the perfect fit for you! Daisy is UTD on vaccines, monthly preventatives, spayed and microchipped. She is fostered in York Haven, PA. Any perspective home will need to travel with all family members and dogs. Story
Hi to my forever family! My name is Cindy Lou Who and I am a 5 yr old, 30 lb mini golden doodle. Yes I was named after the girl in the Grinch movie because I am just as sweet and adorable as she is. I was surrendered to Zoe's House by a commercial breeder. I am loving learning how to be a dog. One of my favorite things I like to do is run around the yard. I would love a fenced in yard, however it is not necessary as I am also working hard on my leash walking, for exercise. I enjoy the snow but am not a fan of the rain. Once I learned what this big comfy thing is in the house (aka the couch), it has become my favorite place to relax and snuggle with my foster mom. Mealtime and treats make me super happy. I am discovering toys and like soft squishy ones. I get along well with my 2 foster sibling dogs and 1 cat - I would do best with other adult dogs or as your one and only. I am housebroken and crate trained though regression can occur. I am spayed, up to date on shots and preventatives. I am ready for my forever home!! Cindy Lou is being fostered in Easton, PA, and a meet and greet with all resident dogs and humans is required. If you feel like this sweet golden doodle would be a great fit for your family, apply on our website - www.zoeshouserescue.com/adopt Zoes House Kennel License #9117 PO Box 2372 Reading PA 19608

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.1/18/25 Loki Babiessss! These little ones were born to a sweet little stray mama that was taken in by a good Samaritan. They are keeping mom. When the babies were only 2 weeks old, mom got a severe case of mastitis and could no longer nurse. The finder, being fully committed to the health and well being of the babies as well as mom, took all 8 pups to work with her every single day so they wouldn't miss any of their meals. She bottle fed all of them until they were old enough to eat on their own. They are now in a foster home. They are happy, healthy babies! Mom looks like a golden retriever mix (she is pictured last), and of course we have no idea what dad is. Mom on the smaller side, about 30 lbs. We estimate these babies will be in the 35-50lb range. They are all super adorable! We will make a seperate post for each of them. This baby is Loki, he is a male with a beautiful golden blonde coat. He is one of the larger puppies in this litter. Their date of birth is 10/25/24. They will be spayed/neutered at the end of this month and can go to their homes early Feb. Please help us find these babies loving, forever homes.
