Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lucky came to us as a local surrender as part of an unplanned litter.  He was born on September 3rd and both parents are true mutts!  Our best guess on breeds based on his looks is golden retriever and possibly australian shepherd.  We really aren't sure. Lucky is a very sweet boy who is definitely a people pup!  He does fine in the company of other dogs, but is happiest when he is with his people.   Being that he came from a very large litter of 12 puppies, he didn't get much training.  His foster family has been working hard with him.  He is picking up house training, but is not a fan of the crate.  He is getting a little better, but it's a work in progress.  Being that he has a love for people, he may do best with crating in a room where he can see his people.  Lucky has been to our vets and received his rabies, distemper and bordatella vaccines.  Fecal was negative and he is current on flea/tick/heartworm preventative.  His adoption fee is $450.If you are interested in this very handsome boy, please submit an application on our website at https://worthytails.rescuegroups.org.  For any questions, please send an email to jessie.wilson@comcast.net.Thank you for your interest in a rescue puppy!PA Kennel License #18991Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 24, 2026, 9:01 pm

Story
Despite our best efforts, we don't always get the results we want. Zoe's House is looking for a very special adopter for a sweet girl who just can't catch a break. Campbell is a one year old female Golden Retriever who came into rescue as a 12 week old puppy who was leaking urine. Fast forward through six rounds of antibiotics for a persistent UTI. Appointments with five different specialty vets. Two ultrasounds and a complicated surgery for ectopic ureters. A cardio consult that diagnosed mitral valve dysplasia and moderate subaortic stenosis (treated through a daily medication). A total of 8 separate blood tests and 14 urinalyses across almost 9 months. Whatever she needed, Zoe's House did. Her medical reports and test results fill a three ring binder. We've tried to identify and fix as many as we can... Except the most difficult diagnosis - chronic kidney disease. This is hereditary and there is no cure, but there are established treatments that include prescription food and medications that can manage her symptoms. While this disease will probably shorten her life span, the treatments available can give her a very good quality of life. And Campbell so deserves that. Throughout everything, Campbell has remained her happy, bouncy, cheerful self. Throw her a ball and she'd bring it back. Throw it again, and off she'll go. Tireless. Excited. Happy. Each throw is a new chase. Guaranteed to keep going long after your arm has given out. We are looking for a special adopter for Campbell who isn't daunted by her diagnosis and who is ready to give her the best possible life for as long as possible. While financial resources are a piece of that, the equally important need is for someone who can give her an active lifestyle (a fenced yard and lots of balls are a must!) and the joys of being part of a household. Campbell is currently living with other dogs of all ages and sizes as well as cats. She loves food, running, spending time outside, chasing balls, car rides, snuggles, and hanging with her friends (both two-footed and four-footed). She doesn't like too much crate time and hates not getting enough exercise. She is fully vetted and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. She sleeps in her crate at night. GIven her energy level, kids over 7 years old are recommended. Someone home alot to give her frequent potty breaks and exercise time would be ideal. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.NOTE- INDIGO IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR AN INDIVIDUAL ASKING TO REHOME THEIR PET.  PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW. Indigo is a big-hearted sweetheart with an incredibly loving and gentle soul. She is affectionate, eager to please, and thrives on human connection. With kids, she is especially joyful—she loves greeting them and often shows her excitement with wagging tails, happy body language, and sweet kisses. She grew up around kids and absolutely adores them. Her playful spirit really shines when she’s outside, where she adores running around the yard, chasing balls, and proudly carrying sticks like little treasures. In fact, she does the cutest “gazelle” hops just from pure excitement!  With adults, Indigo does best with slow, calm introductions, though she is certainly curious of new people. New situations and unfamiliar people can sometimes feel overwhelming for her at first, but once she has time to settle in and build trust, she forms deep, loyal bonds and becomes an incredibly devoted companion. She is extremely motivated, responsive, and genuinely wants to make her people happy. Indigo does well greeting other dogs in public settings, though she also needs slow and controlled introductions as well. She would thrive best as the only dog in a household. She enjoys being the center of attention and benefits from having consistent affection and one-on-one time, which allows her to feel secure and confident in her environment. Overall, Indigo is a loving, playful, and loyal dog who has so much affection to give. With patience, understanding, and a calm home, she will reward her future fur-ever family with endless love, joy, and companionship. Indigo Is located in Springfield, VA.  IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING INDIGO, PLEASE CONTACT:Valerie Thach Email: valerie.gthach@gmail.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 4, 2026, 11:52 am

Please contact Marilyn at 856-275-6905 for more information about this pet.  This dog is located in Newark, DE. Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application/ to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 856-275-6905 (call or text) or via email at Fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com&#226&#128&#139 Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permanent homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here, you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. &#226&#128&#139 January 30, 2026, 6:45 pm

Story
KENNEL ID #18804 Meet the Cuter Things Litter (Inspired by STRANGER THINGS ) This adorable all-girl litter came to us through no fault of their own. Their owner was arrested, and his girlfriend and the puppies had to move out by December 31st. She was able to find a family member willing to foster the mama dog, but sadly there was nowhere for the puppies to go. Thanks to one of our amazing volunteers, these girls were picked up and brought to safety.  When they first arrived, they looked like they’d been battling Demogorgons — but after a much-needed bath, full bellies, and some TLC, they’ve transformed into the happy, playful, very cute puppies they were meant to be. The pup's mom is a Goldendoodle mix and dad is unknown. We don’t know what they’re mixed with, but we do know they’re sweet, resilient, and ready to leave the Upside Down behind for loving forever homes. Holly - Tiny but mighty, with a big heart and a strong little spirit   Adoption Fee $575 ($100 refund with proof of spay) Thank you for your interest in rescue.  If you would like to be considered for  adoption,  please submit an application to adopt.  If you have any questions regarding the adoption process, please email:  rescuedp2024@icloud.com  or ddlu219@yahoo.com   for dog/puppies.    APPLICATIONS TO ADOPT : DOG     CAT     BIRD      REPTILE       SMALL ANIMALS        January 27, 2026, 12:03 am
