Story
Introducing Miss Honey! Honey is as sweet as her name. She is a 5-year-old spayed mini golden doodle, weighing around 40 lbs. She is up to date on all her vaccinations and is on monthly flea and tick and heartworm preventatives. While initially timid and unsure, after being allowed some time to feel safe and secure, she wants nothing more than to be exactly where her people are. She walks with a slack leash (as long as she’s with you), is doing great at going outside in the backyard to use the potty (as long as she is with you) and sleeps all night on her dog bed (as long as she’s next to you) Do you see the pattern here?! Honey is indifferent to cats, has been gentle with all children that she has interacted with and gets along with both our female and male dog, although she’s much happier with her people and would probably be just fine in a single dog home. Because of her desire to be with her human family, she does have separation anxiety when left alone. She would do best with a family that is home a lot and able to spend as much time with her as possible. She is not the biggest fan of her crate but is slowly adjusting to that as well. With some time and patience, Honey will be a great companion for her future family! PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.4/6/25 Still available! Bentley is a pup with a purpose. His wide set eyes may give him a slightly goofy expression, but he knows where he is going and what he is doing when he gets there. He is more likely to go through an obstacle than over or around. He has the caramel coloring of a Yellow Lab, and at about 5 months old is a solid 26lbs. His mom is fairly small (30 pounds, dad unknown). We think Bentley will be medium sized when full grown...40-50 pounds? Purely a guess. • Fully crate trained, sleeping through the night and dry most days while his foster parents are at work.• Doing well w/ house training. • Interested in cats in a playful, not harmful, kind of way. Good with other dogs. • Good w/ kids• Very shy at first with new people but warms up quickly.  Located in New England  To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Message or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. Story
hi Daisy, this sweetie is a 7 year old standard goldendoodle. She and another dog were surrendered to our care from a commercial breeder in Lancaster when she got too old to keep having puppies. She is 58 lbs. We love this girl! She is so gentle and sweet. She is a bit shy so she will need patience to gain her confidence but you can see how much she wants to hang out with her volunteers. Just spend a few minutes with her in the play yard and she will build up the courage to come up for pets and gentle ear scratches. She is going to be absolutely wonderful when she fully relaxes. She would need to meet any resident dogs. She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. She is also scheduled for a dental evaluation and will receive it as the vet deems necessary. **If you are interested in adoption, please start by filling out the adoption application on our website www.phoenixanimalrescue.com Her adoption fee is $450** Phoenix Animal Rescue Chester Springs, Pa Kennel License #5152

Story
We are making the heartbreaking decision to rehome our 4-year-old male Golden Retriever. Personality and Needs: He is medium energy. He loves to play and go for walks but can settle down for cuddles. He is very bonded to his mom. He has some reactivity issues surrounding resource guarding and anxiety. We will only consider homes with no cats and children 12+ that have a clear understanding of dog safety and boundaries. No children and other pets are ideal. The main reason we are choosing to rehome him is because we have a toddler and another child on the way. This change in our family dynamics has made it challenging to provide the environment he needs. He ideally needs a home with a fenced yard and room to run. No apartments. He is neutered, up to date on all shots, and on flea/tick prevention. He is a healthy, happy, playful, and loving boy.
