Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lucky came to us as a local surrender as part of an unplanned litter.  He was born on September 3rd and both parents are true mutts!  Our best guess on breeds based on his looks is golden retriever and possibly australian shepherd.  We really aren't sure. Lucky is a very sweet boy who is definitely a people pup!  He does fine in the company of other dogs, but is happiest when he is with his people.   Being that he came from a very large litter of 12 puppies, he didn't get much training.  His foster family has been working hard with him.  He is picking up house training, but is not a fan of the crate.  He is getting a little better, but it's a work in progress.  Being that he has a love for people, he may do best with crating in a room where he can see his people.  Lucky has been to our vets and received his rabies, distemper and bordatella vaccines.  Fecal was negative and he is current on flea/tick/heartworm preventative.  His adoption fee is $450.If you are interested in this very handsome boy, please submit an application on our website at https://worthytails.rescuegroups.org.  For any questions, please send an email to jessie.wilson@comcast.net.Thank you for your interest in a rescue puppy!PA Kennel License #18991Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 24, 2026, 9:01 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Stormy came to us as a local surrender from an unplanned litter. She was born on September 3rd, and while both parents are true mixed breeds, our best guess based on her looks is that she may have some Golden Retriever and possibly Australian Shepherd in her background. Her exact breed mix is a bit of a mystery! Stormy is a very sweet girl and a total people pup. She enjoys being around other dogs but is happiest when she’s with her humans. Since she came from a very large litter of 12 puppies, she didn’t get much early training. Her crate training is going well—she’s content as long as she can see her people nearby. House training is still a work in progress, especially with all the snow and cold weather (though Stormy absolutely loves playing in the snow!). Stormy has shown some mild food resource guarding, which is understandable given her start in such a big litter. She doesn’t need to be an only dog, but any family with other dogs should be aware and willing to help her continue learning that food will always be available. With time and consistency, we expect this to improve. Because of this, Stormy would do best in a home with some dog experience. Stormy has been to the vet and is up to date on her rabies, distemper, and bordetella vaccines. Her fecal test was negative, and she is current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $450. If you’re interested in this beautiful girl, please submit an application on our website athttps://worthytails.rescuegroups.org If you have any questions, feel free to email jessie.wilson@comcast.net. Thank you for considering adopting a rescue puppy—we appreciate your interest in Stormy! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.NOTE- INDIGO IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR AN INDIVIDUAL ASKING TO REHOME THEIR PET.  PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW. Indigo is a big-hearted sweetheart with an incredibly loving and gentle soul. She is affectionate, eager to please, and thrives on human connection. With kids, she is especially joyful—she loves greeting them and often shows her excitement with wagging tails, happy body language, and sweet kisses. She grew up around kids and absolutely adores them. Her playful spirit really shines when she’s outside, where she adores running around the yard, chasing balls, and proudly carrying sticks like little treasures. In fact, she does the cutest “gazelle” hops just from pure excitement!  With adults, Indigo does best with slow, calm introductions, though she is certainly curious of new people. New situations and unfamiliar people can sometimes feel overwhelming for her at first, but once she has time to settle in and build trust, she forms deep, loyal bonds and becomes an incredibly devoted companion. She is extremely motivated, responsive, and genuinely wants to make her people happy. Indigo does well greeting other dogs in public settings, though she also needs slow and controlled introductions as well. She would thrive best as the only dog in a household. She enjoys being the center of attention and benefits from having consistent affection and one-on-one time, which allows her to feel secure and confident in her environment. Overall, Indigo is a loving, playful, and loyal dog who has so much affection to give. With patience, understanding, and a calm home, she will reward her future fur-ever family with endless love, joy, and companionship.
