Fred is a 3.5 year old Golden Retriever mix. He only weighs 32 lbs, so he is mixed with a smaller breed, but we haven't been able to figure out what smaller breed. Foster mom says that Fred is the cutest, sweetest boy you will ever meet. Something or someone in his past has made Fred shy and untrusting. He needs adopters who will be patient and give him time to settle in and know he is safe, and it will be such a rewarding feeling to watch him gain confidence and understand that he has people who love and care for him. He loves to run and play with other dogs, so he would love to have a friendly playmate. He has great leash manners but he is still learning to enjoying car rides. Fred loves to snuggle with his fosters, in bed or on the couch or on their feet! Fred hasn't been around kids, but he is so gentle that we think he will be great with kids over the age of 6, or probably even younger. A couple weeks ago we were informed of a situation where five dogs were in need of rescue. It was an effort that required a couple rescues. We ended up with Gino. We were able to lock in a foster and move Gino. Gino was terrified… He would alligator roll and howl throughout the night-but today and in such a short time, he is progressing leaps and bounds. Gino it’s super sweet and accepting of pets including cats, loves other dogs, and is house trained. He is fully vetted and ready for his forever home where he will forever be safe off the streets.

Pidge was originally part of a multi-dog home and then became a single dog due to family divorce. She is almost 7 years old (October birthday) and still loves to chase her ball until your arm wears out. Great on a leash but her walks/hikes in texas heat are getting a bit shorter. She listens well off leash on countryside walks or beach visits. LOVES to swim. She grew up around cats and 2 other dogs. She does like being the center of attention and will compete to get all your pets. She has quite the personality - affectionate, snuggly and just wanting to be at your side. Needing to find a home as my allergies are getting worse and work schedule with extended travel is unpredictable.
