Please do not apply unless you have a very active lifestyle. 2 year old male AKC Golden Retriever, named Buddy (male, neutered). Unfortunately my wife is battling health issues and I started to travel for work. Buddy is an adventure dog, not simply a pet, and he needs more action than we can provide him despite being in a loving home. He has a human mom, dad, brother and sister, and a dog sister. I take him on 5k runs 3x a weekly and he is trained to run in a heel position alongside a bike and afoot (he LOVES bike rides). He is also trained to run with dog shoes so his paws don’t burn. He also is socialized, and goes to doggy play care once a week. He is great with kids and loves getting pet at the park. Must haves: -Active home: someone who runs almost every day, goes on adventures (hikes/camping), and can play with Buddy daily. Keep in mind I run him 3x a week and it’s not enough. -A yard Nice to haves: -Another dog -Human kids (bigger than toddlers) -A pool he can swim in

A couple weeks ago we were informed of a situation where five dogs were in need of rescue. It was an effort that required a couple rescues. We ended up with Gino. We were able to lock in a foster and move Gino. Gino was terrified… He would alligator roll and howl throughout the night-but today and in such a short time, he is progressing leaps and bounds. Gino it’s super sweet and accepting of pets including cats, loves other dogs, and is house trained. He is fully vetted and ready for his forever home where he will forever be safe off the streets.
