A couple weeks ago we were informed of a situation where five dogs were in need of rescue. It was an effort that required a couple rescues. We ended up with Gino. We were able to lock in a foster and move Gino. Gino was terrified… He would alligator roll and howl throughout the night-but today and in such a short time, he is progressing leaps and bounds. Gino it’s super sweet and accepting of pets including cats, loves other dogs, and is house trained. He is fully vetted and ready for his forever home where he will forever be safe off the streets.

You haven’t truly relaxed until Skye has curled up beside you, resting her head on your lap as if she has always belonged there. Skye is the kind of dog who seems to understand the world a little better than most. She is bright, affectionate, and deeply people-oriented, always happiest when she is close to her humans. At one and a half years old, this Golden Retriever and Labrador mix has the perfect balance of playful energy and calm companionship. She loves a good cuddle just as much as she enjoys a long walk or a romp in the yard. Skye has done wonderfully with children and other dogs and has consistently shown a gentle, friendly nature. She especially enjoys playtime with her brother, Sprocket, where the two engage in joyful, well-matched play. They clearly take comfort in each other’s presence and truly enjoy being together. Skye is both house trained and crate trained, is spayed, and has no special medical needs. Skye thrives in homes where she has room to play, explore, and then come inside to relax with her people. Fred is a 3.5 year old Golden Retriever mix. He only weighs 32 lbs, so he is mixed with a smaller breed, but we haven't been able to figure out what smaller breed. Foster mom says that Fred is the cutest, sweetest boy you will ever meet. Something or someone in his past has made Fred shy and untrusting. He needs adopters who will be patient and give him time to settle in and know he is safe, and it will be such a rewarding feeling to watch him gain confidence and understand that he has people who love and care for him. He loves to run and play with other dogs, so he would love to have a friendly playmate. He has great leash manners but he is still learning to enjoying car rides. Fred loves to snuggle with his fosters, in bed or on the couch or on their feet! Fred hasn't been around kids, but he is so gentle that we think he will be great with kids over the age of 6, or probably even younger.
